I guess I'm going to let my iPhone X pre-order show up, even though I've already proved the 8 Plus doesn't work with Honda/Acura Bluetooth.
It has so much going against it before I even get it, despite the tremendous design.
*No gigabit LTE. We'll be seeing a lot of gigabit LTE by this summer, at least around here.
*No Band 71. By April - June, we'll have some of that around here.
*The 2018/2019 designs will have more sizes.
*The 2018/2019 designs will not have the famous "notch."
The last straw will be the Acura/Honda Bluetooth problem. If it doesn't work right, it's going back just like the 8 Plus.
If it works, I'll keep it even though I know it's inherently a bit of a waste of money.

if you guys didnt like the bulk of the plus model iPhones, why didnt you go with the non plus models then? the X is about the same size
wanted the 1080p screen. Thought bigger screen better for the shit I do. I've been ok with it for the most part but I'm really looking forward to this X. It arrived at my work yesterday while I'm in Vegas :-/. Delivery said 11/14 so I thought that would be ok. Anyways getting back from Vegas tonite around midnight gonna drive straight to my work and pick it up. They locked it up in a special place for me. I'm still on the original 6Plus believe it or not so this is gonna be quite a step up. Dunno why I didn't go to 7 probably just didn't wanna deal with the "new phone" process. lol anyway.

i didn’t dislike the bulk. But there are concessions you make with it such as wearing jeans. If I was getting in the car or sitting I always had to take the phone out.
otherwise the plus replaced my iPad 3 to read books on. Plus the better camera, duh. And I wouldn’t take anything extra for sort trips. I like the bigger screen. It’s nice to have a bigger screen in a smaller package.

Because when the PLUS came out, I wanted the biggest screen. Size matters to me. Its like buying a TL non type S. Why would I do that. If I am going to be a true American, I am going to waste my money on the top line model whether I need it or not.
Now that the X is giving me PLUS size screen with regular size phone, I am perfectly happy.
