I have it, but haven't been using it. I would like to because Apples word predictions suck. But I like being able to voice dictate and I don't think that's possible with 3rd party keyboard.
I don't believe there is, but is there a voice command that will actually send a text?

I just noticed this and it is annoying as hell!
I went to add an address to a contact. When I click add address, first thing that happens is it moves the cursor to the 2nd street address line, not the first. After I enter the street number and hit space, it takes me to pick a country!Hit cancel and tap the street line and takes me to the City line. Whenever I hit backspace it deletes 1 character then pick country comes up again. Then if I keep hitting delete it deletes 1 character at a time from each line and pick a country constantly keeps being selected.
It makes entering an address for somebody a 5 minute ordeal rather than a quick 15 seconds. What the fuck!? Anyone else have this issue?

^Time to replace it. It will not hold a charge and then start doing the "die at 40%" thing.

The last thing I need is more of those damn tools. Every part you buy for an iPhone, they fucking include them. And yes, I see the option for the part only.
The only thing is, each time I've replaced a battery, the usage time greatly diminishes. The parts aren't up to quality.

Well that's what I put in ours and even if I only get eighty percent of an OEM batteries performance it's still extending the life of a defunct phone for $25.
In our case though we are getting the claimed "new phone" battery life.

Might have to try it. Batteries I've gotten off of Amazon don't live up to the advertised life.

What's the other option? Buy new phones that bend? Lol :/

No, I'd probably try and find a 5S cheap.

I tell ya, guys...finding gray Verizon 64GB iPhone 6 in this town is like trying to find an attractive woman in this town. Impossible.

How is everyone's i6/i6+? (I have ATT 128GB I6+)
This has probably been the worse overall phone from Apple and I've been with them (at least in terms of phones) since the beginning.
So many bugs, glitches, and lag.
They're times where I understand the app itself may have bugs, but I'd use apple apps and they would freeze. I still have an issue with the portrait/landscape mode, and sometimes the touchscreen doesn't respond. I've brought it to Apple and they told me to restore... which I have 3 times. I may just go the next time and politely force them to replace it for me since they have all the 'freezes' / 'crashes' in their diagnostic report even after multiple restores. My WiFi is also spotty. Even though I'm connected and all of my laptops, Macs, and iPads are connected to the same WiFi-- the only thing that decides to not establish a good connection is my i6+-- it works or doesn't work 50/50

Yup my 6+ is buggy as well.
MY LTE is super slow. 60KB/sec where as my old tests with the iPhone 4 are like 600KB/sec
But I'm blaming that on AT&T because it was thay slow on my iPhone 5 since like the beginning of 2014.

Ouch. So glad I skipped this model.
Still no issues here with either of our 5's and iOS 8.

There's an option now to keep all old messages, 30 days or 1 year.

Plenty of room left, so storage isn't the issue.
Affair... :hmmm:
She did an update and then a day or two later, poof! all gone.
Will check the retention period setting, but unless there is a "no days" option, it seems weird they would all go bye bye...

Had my Verizon 6 for a week now. No issues.

My 6 had some bugs when iOS 8.2 was on it. With 8.1.2 it seems to be fine.

Wifey's 6 started freaking out, flashing apple logo, then blank, then gibberish...
Took to apple store, they factory reset it and it seems to be back to normal.

This study with a huge sample size shows that Apple's satisfaction rating dropped a few points. No this isn't a Samsung vs Apple post. I'm thinking the 8.0 issues had to have an effect.
Best Smartphone Company: Study finds Samsung tops Apple for No. 1 spot | BGR
Best Smartphone Company: Study finds Samsung tops Apple for No. 1 spot | BGR
Samsung had a very rough year in 2014. The company’s flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5, was seen as a disappointment by most pundits and industry watchers. According to several reports, the phone also failed to meet internal sales estimates. Making matters far worse was Samsung’s performance in the most recent quarter, when immense pressure at the high and low ends of the smartphone market caused a shocking 60% drop in operating profit.
But Samsung will finish 2014 with a much-needed win. According to the results of a massive study, Samsung has passed Apple to become the most beloved cell phone maker in the United States.
This year’s American Consumer Satisfaction Index performed by the University of Michigan once found that Time Warner Cable and Comcast are the two most hated brands in the country. The 2014 Index covered 230 different brands and was the result of data collected in approximately 70,000 interviews with U.S. consumers.
Narrowing focus to just cell phone makers, the study showed an interesting changing of the guard in 2014 that will come as a surprise to some industry watchers.
Despite this year’s release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which combined to make up the biggest cell phone launch in history with more than 10 million units sold through the end of their debut weekend, Apple earned a customer satisfaction score of 79 out of 100, dropping 2.5% from the 81 it scored in 2013.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s customer satisfaction score jumped to 81 in 2014, up 6.6% from 76 last year.
This could be a big win for Samsung as it moves into 2015 and looks to regain momentum. Rumors suggest that Samsung went back to the drawing board and designed the upcoming Galaxy S6 from the ground up, having included some unique new features that might help separate the company’s upcoming new flagship phone from the pack next year.
Samsung’s new Galaxy S6 is expected to be released sometime in the first half of 2015.

I still say it's very difficult to produce a quality product when you have new hardware and new OS coming every year. They did it to themselves.

The hardware and software updates for the foreseeable future are minor. Few added features, etc

I think I will be trying this out so I can get some more life with the 5.
It's been doing that thing where it shuts off around 40% battery. So dumb.
