I finally decided not to get the 5s.

Gonna wait for the 6.

Played around with the 5s, and was underwhelmed in its comparison to my current 5.
Sure it's a huge leap from a 4, but from a 5?...nope.

I'll deal with the partial black-hole coverage I have currently with AT&T till the 6 comes out. I have figured out ways to deal with it.

I don't blame you.. I don't think I could have went from the 5 to the 5s 'just because'. It wasn't that big of an upgrade.

After my iPhone failing its scuba certification, I was unable to aquire another iPhone through AT&T unless I wanted to A. get the 64gig version of the 5s or B. order one... Did't really have time to wait as I refused to use my company blackberry until July (when my contract is up), so I opened a new line and got an Android.

Figure, I can't bash it unless I try it and I only have to deal till July at the earliest, but I think I am going to hold out till the iPhone 6.

So darkside, here I am.. I guess.... Hypocritical, maybe a littlebit. Didn't have much of a choice. It was get an android, wait till an iphone 5s/5c came in or deal with my blackberry...

I'm sure Swoosh is gonna be in her to rub it in my face..

Posted this on my FB Wall, thought some of you may get a laugh out of it...

Dear Apple, I know your sales of the iPhone 5C haven't been going well, so here is a tip. If you're going to market the iPhone 5C as being 'colorful', don't include the plain white version in your ad...

Was browsing the list of updates on my iPhone last night and came across this gem. 2nd paragraph, last sentence. Don't know how they got away with including that little tid-bit in their update.

I had problem with iPad. I just rebooted it and it picked up with no issues. Now my iPad is wifi only and I almost never shut it off. Was having problems on my iPhone as well. But rebooting iPad helped clear that up as well.

Yes, but for me the fix is temporary, it isn't a permanant fix.

I've turned off Facetime, turned off iMessages, rebooted, turned them both on, each time waiting for each to activate. And the problem always returns.

Unless there is another, different fix that I'm unaware of.

Just saying what worked for me, surprised that it was that simple, my wife was having same problem. Again after me rebooting, cleared it up for her as well. We use the same wifi network in our house. Had to be something with it, don't know... ...

I just change routers this week as well, and continue to have no problems.

So take it as you will....

iPhone 5S users report 'Blue Screen Of Death' reboots

Apple's latest iPhone 5S has an unexpected feature: the Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD). While it's typically an error found on older Windows PCs, a number of iPhone 5S users are reporting random reboots on their handsets following a BSOD. The blue screen reboots appear to be iPhone 5S specific and are largely occurring with Apple's own iWork apps that come free with all new iOS devices. Videos detailing the issue show that multitasking between apps seems to trigger the BSOD. iPhone 5S users are also reporting random reboots during device use.

Wow… Second Blue Screen on my iPhone 5S in a bout a week…. Should I be worried?? #Apple

— Brian Walters (@Scott_Knows) October 7, 2013
Apple has released iOS 7.0.2 to primarily fix lock-screen security bugs, but the latest version does not address the reboot issues. Several threads on Apple's support forums highlight the problem, and a number of Twitter users have also expressed their frustrations. One workaround to alleviate the iWork-related reboots is to disable iCloud syncing for Apple's Pages, Keynote, and Numbers apps. We've reached out to Apple to comment on the blue screen reboots, and we'll update you accordingly.

No issues here, but a customers phone decided to go into recovery mode instead of not installing 7 when she said not to install it.

I can't going stop laughing about the blue screen of death issue. Did apple decide to run Windows ME?

Edited Viral Video Used for Motivation at Apple

<iframe width="480" height="373" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" id="nyt_video_player" title="New York Times Video - Embed Player" src="http://graphics8.nytimes.com/bcvideo/1.0/iframe/embed.html?videoId=100000002498865&playerType=embe d"></iframe>

It may be true that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But a popular filmmaker in New York was not flattered when he learned that part of his movie had been recut and used as a motivational video for Apple employees.

The video, “The Dark Side of the iPhone 5S Lines,” was a lighthearted documentary by Casey Neistat on the pains people endured while waiting in line for the new iPhone 5S. One woman in the film, for example, wrapped herself in a garbage bag to stay warm while sleeping on the ground. The video has had more than three million views on YouTube.

The tweaked version of the movie was sent internally at Apple on Sept. 30 to some customer service representatives to thank them for their hard work on the latest iPhone introduction, according to an Apple employee who received the video and would speak only anonymously for fear of retribution from Apple. The video was sent specifically to customer care officials who focus on troubleshooting iOS, Apple’s mobile operating system, meaning it may have reached thousands of employees.

In the version of the movie sent around the company, the video is played in fast motion with catchy music while headlines about the product introduction scroll across the screen. Mr. Neistat’s name, which is in the upper-right hand corner of the original movie, is removed in the edited version. (But the woman who wrapped herself in a plastic bag remains.)

Mr. Neistat, a longtime Apple fan who also waited in line for the original iPhone six years ago, found the reinterpretation of his movie ironic and offensive.

“I’ve never had my work stolen so adversely as this,” Mr. Neistat said. “They stripped all my branding off it and put their own name on it in such a harsh way.”

Apple declined to comment.

Though the edited video shows an Apple logo at the end of the clip, it does not have the high polish seen in official Apple videos. It even contains an unintelligible typo — “Additional Hours Reguirements Met” — near the end.

The video was pulled from Apple’s server a week after it was sent, according to the customer service employee.

Apple is renowned for its tight oversight of its products and employees, who help keep its products and plans secret. But Apple’s customer service operations operate in a much more ad hoc fashion. One customer care program, called Apple At-Home Advisors, employs people around the world who work from home. The advisers get a free iMac and full benefits, and they take phone calls from customers looking for help with products, according to Apple’s Web site. That is still tighter control of customer care than many American companies, which often outsource customer care to call centers in the Philippines and India.

Yea, I don't think so. While I do admit the graphics could have been created with word, it isn't a platform built for creating graphics and reusing them in an efficient manner.

As far as graphics/design go, (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) > *

The way he was selling it did seem as if he was trying to sell it, even though it was a stretch. At least that was the impression I got from it.
