^^ With as much shaking as the camera is doing, it would be pretty hard to over-lay that, no?

I haven't been keeping up with it

Announced months ago or not, it's not a smart design IMO. I never understood why they did it with the iPod either.

Look at the bottom corners of the screen as he powers it on...something is up.

Not to mention how dark one screen is versus the other.

I'm with ya.. Looks like the Apple is moving independently of the camera shake. Unless that's just my eyes.

The blackness could just mean a "true-er black" screen. The battle for the true-er black screen has been going on for quite a while.

At times, I think the major fault of the iPhone is the screen size. Especially now that there are others with significantly larger screens. I also think that it is a double edged sword.. Currently the iPhone fits perfectly in my pocket. Small, thin, etc etc.. When I think about a 4.8" screen, I think that would feel like a brick in my pocket..

They didn't go wider because then they would have to change the screen resolution to something that would make it harder for developers to program for/make compatible.

Plus now the resolution is 16:9.

Hmmm with a taller phone, this means when I put it in my shirt pocket the tip should stick out.. Wonder if the camera will be blocked or not...

I just got the brookstone projector case so I think I'm gonna hold off on the 5 or whatever it's gonna be called. I have a new love for my 4s and I FINALLY after months of tweeking got it neat and perfect for my liking. The new one better have something AWESOME besides the slimmer, bigger screen(I watch movies at 50+ inches from my 4s ),4g etc: for me to upgrade.

I've had both, and i think they made the right move with it on the bottom. When you lift the phone out of your pocket while listening to music your hand is already in the area of the phone and you just need to swivel it around. Its easier than having your hand on top of your phone and moving it down

I'm with you, i think 4.8 is too big. Although i've never had one in my pocket so i cant tell you if it feels too big. THey should have increased the bezel on the sides of this phone though, it looks a ltl awkward being tall and skinny haha

YEAH WELL YOU'RE WRONG!!!!

I like having the phone sitting upright in my pocket and being able to just pull the headphone jack straight out

It's not killing the appeal of the phone for me, I'm just being a nitpicker

you'll learn to get used to it!! Has there been any word about iphone coming to tmobile?? No right?

I'm due for a new phone in december, especially with my cracked screen, my nexus s getting laggy and the battery taking a shit, Im thinking about phones and just having the iphone as a choice would be nice... windows phone 8 looks good too, the new nokia 920s.

how would this be any different than how its rumored to be?

instead of the phone sitting with the top at the top of your pocket, it will just sit with the bottom of the phone at the top of your pocket

not like you have to put the phone in headphone first..

I always thought it would be stupid to have it on the bottom....until we got our Prius which has an aux input, but no real ipod connection.

So, to have the stereo jack on one end, and the power cable on the other end....there is no nice way to put the down that doesnt put stress on one of the connections.

After that, I was always going, damn it would be so nice if both connections were on one side.

hmm.. didnt think of that, i do have that issue when i use aux in on other cars.

On the TL the aux out is done thru the car charger in the center console arm rest cubby hole, so i only plug in the car charger and thats it.

Only chance nokia has is if windows mobile 8 gains any ground. Theyve been hurting for awhile and they were the ones on top.

It would be surprising if Windows 8 gains that sort of traction. Just was a bit sad to see them scrambling to unveil their phones when they knew the iPhone 5 was incoming.

I think it will depend on the overall success of the Surface tablet.
