Keep it. You need it for areas with spotty or no cell service.

No Cell Service = No Data for maps to use unless they allow a "buffer"

well they were comparing Android 4.0 vs iOS 5 so it's fair to say that Android was way ahead of IOS in the mapping Dept me thinks

Google blocked turn by turn and stuff on ios. They could've easily put it on there.

I bought a new one that I used when I was in detroit for 6 months...I haven't used it since (over 18 months)

I pretty much use my iPhone now anyway...having turn by turn is a bonus.

This just gives me the excuse to sell it.

When I went down to SoCal last month I used the Waze app. Free turn by turn voice guided GPS.

Loved the multitasking too, I could use pandora at the same time. Waze would mute out pandora at the prompts and then resume the music

Although I think having the Waze app open and pandora at the same time saturated my cell connection cause the music would cut in and out at times. Due to the real time rendering/downloading of maps.

I just turned off the screen and things worked fine. Still got the voice prompts and music from pandora
