Major League Baseball Thread 2006 Season

Finally!! I looked out my school window a few hours ago toward the stadium and the traffic was already crazy. Luckily I'm in KY so I don't have to drive through that mess.
They were telling people to get there about 10-11:00 AM so they can get in on time (because of all the security for President Bush)

We'll have to wait and see if he can hold on to the starter's role...

The past few years I've learned to start looking for the fly-over fighters way ahead of time and have actually been able to just barely spot them coming down from NH and circling way, way out until it's their time. Then they start getting bigger and bigger and you can actually get a pretty good view of them as they're crossing Fenway.
Not nearly as cool as seeing a B-2 though.

My office is just a couple blocks away from Camden Yards. Well I heard a loud "boom," and about 30 seconds later I heard the call on the radio/internet of Tejada going deep, followed by fireworks, which explained the boom. Then the audio went dead for a few min. and I heard 2 booms about 2 min. apart, then I found later that Matos and Mora had gone back-to-back. 6-4 O's
