Although, srika really should be a "2" since well, he knew at all times where the Cup was...almost like our own real-time Twitter feed except on AZ!

Amazing.

The Western Conference supremacy is going to be a street-fight...no team is letting up so far.

And pffft @ Waldorf...your team's "injuries" are not that much of a sob-story. Only 4 players out.

If you want a team to be crying about having a "farm team", try your hated Ducks with 8 players out...Pens with 6 players out...or the Bolts with 7 players out.

Girlfriend's little nephew gets haircuts at sport clips and they sent an email out to hair cut client's for 4 free tickets. I was expecting 4 upper level cheap tickets so I was amazed that they actually had $120 tickets available to pick from and snatched them up immediately.

Plus she received another email from another company doing the same thing. Maybe there are just a lot of corporate promotions for this game. Whatever, fine by me!

Good score. I wish the B's would give away tickets like that but I guess I should just be happy that the ticket prices are still reasonable.

No buggin here, Bostons perennial Selke candidate will be in the line up. It's looking to me like Detroit's west coast make up is having a tough time surviving playing big boy hockey in the east.

At the start of the season one of the local radio guys (who actually knows hockey) predicted the Wings were going to be in trouble in the east based simply on them having the fewest fighting majors in the league. He had a feeling that lots of liberties would be taken against a team that isn't prepared to make it stop.

Not bad.

Plus the 6-3 win was a bonus. Only thing that pissed me off (no pun intended) was that after we tied it 2-2 I ran to the bathroom and to get a beer. As I get out of the tunnel I hear everyone scream and missed the 3rd goal. I run to the urinal and as I start peeing I hear everyone scream again for the 4th goal and say lots of foul language out loud because I can't believe what just happened and I missed it. lol ducks.

at all the clowns who used to say Detroit simply skated into the playoffs past the "weak" Western competition. If you paid closer attention to the Wings this year, their main weakness have been:

1. Youthful defense w/ too many turnovers in their own zone.
2. Subpar goaltending from Howard compared to Monster (thanks domcha).
3. Weiss has been injured/ineffective as a replacement for Filppula

He had a feeling that lots of liberties would be taken against a team that isn't prepared to make it stop.
Fighting is down league-wide and I don't think lack of grittiness explains Detroit's mediocre showing thus far.

Suppose, we'll see what happens over the course of the season with Detroit not sporting a true enforcer. I do think the offense needs to get to the dirty areas and score more ugly goals, but you could probably ask 29 other coaches around the league and they would have the same lament.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. You can call it stupid, idiotic, misplaced or whatever loyalty but don't call it blind. I was well aware of how bad the team was and still chose to remain a loyal fan.

? Guess you missed my post about the 15 million per year Canada will be providing US teams starting next season. Thanks to The NHL will now be viable in the dark hockey hole that is the United States.

That was taken at opening face off. There was lots of shitty traffic regardless which route you took. People kept funneling in throughout the first period and was much more full than the pic shows.

So, with the new deal, does it spell the end of the TSN hockey crew...? Dreger and McKenzie now join Sportsnet or CBC...?

That Conn Smythe winner of yours stinks gonads this year and is costing me 1st place in my pool. $600 pot at stake.

So, you can tell your hero to take his Smythe and suck it.

Even if they stink!

I mean, in the 23 centuries since the Leaves won, they still sell out each game and trying to get a ticket is an exercise in bending over and/or selling a kidney at the AC.
