So, it's doable. Still, gotta lament the squandered scoring chances a PP could potentially yield.

I could be wrong but I believe in 2011, the B's had the worst power play in history that still managed to take home the cup.

Well here we are yummy, game day, game 4. Crucial night for both teams. A win for the B's and it's a dominant strangle hold on the series. A win for the Hawks and it's all even heading into a best of 3 series.
Game 4 is always the most stressful game to watch whether you're up 3-0, down 3-0, up 2-1 or down 2-1.

Yup! Tonight, I find out what the Hawks are made of against their toughest opponent yet. If they continue to shrivel to the Bruins' physical play, it's over and we can go back to Chicago and end this series in 5. If the Hawks can overcome and adjust and win? We probably are going to 7 games.
Just win 4 games, I don't care if there in beantown, chitown, or freaking afganistan. Just win 4 and bring it back home

Either that or when he was young, his favorite player was the guy he hoped to grow up to be. Or he could just be a wise ass. Whatever it was I still found his deadpan delivery pretty humorous.

If I read the report right, Seidenberg is harnessing the power of Ricky Fitness, Tuukka has Jimmy the Robot, Looch has all the awesome powers of Crash McLarson, Chara is channeling the Commander and "Bones" is watching from the press box with Campbell.
Well, I'm sure the Commander knows what he is doing.
Far be it from me to question the Commander.

I believe "Chainsaw, Prince of Karate" has been called out of retirement to fill in for Bones on the ice.
Plus Bones can still summon the dude from the press box, he needs somewhere to plug in the amp.

NHLPA Special Assistant to the Executive Director Mathieu Schneider says all competition committee items forwarded from earlier this month have been approved by the league's general managers.
Hybrid icing, mandatory visors, shallower nets and video review on four-minute highsticking penalties will all be introduced next season, pending approval from the NHL's board of governors.
Five owners and five players reached a consensus to grandfather in mandatory visors, meaning that all current players will still have the choice but incoming ones must continue to wear them as they have in junior, college and in Europe.
The committee also voted to give hybrid icing a trial run during the 2013-14 pre-season, while shallower nets are effective for all of next season. All four-minute high-sticking penalties will be subject to video review, and Rule 81.5 that allows for linesmen to waive off icing on "attainable" passes would be eliminated as well.
General managers Ken Holland of the Detroit Red Wings, Steve Yzerman of the Tampa Bay Lightning and David Poile of the Nashville Predators, Toronto Maple Leafs coach Randy Carlyle and Philadelphia Flyers chairman Ed Snider were the team officials on the competition committee, while Ron Hainsey of the Winnipeg Jets, Michael Cammalleri of the Calgary Flames, Cory Schneider of the Vancouver Canucks and David Backes and Alex Pietrangelo of the St. Louis Blues represented the players.

Puck over the glass/delay of game change? Nope
Reduction in goaltender equipment gear? Nope
Get rid of the trapezoid? Nope
Get rid of the instigator rule? Nope
...but hey, we got some new nets coming for next year!

But, wow...I don't think my heart can take more of these games. Still, what an insane game. It would figure that the Hawks finally score a PPG and even a SHG...have 3-1, 4-2 leads and still need OT.
What effort by Toews taking on Chara and Seidenberg in the GWG to distract Rask. What a player. Wife bought me a signed jersey for Father's Day...I can't wait to frame it and hang it.

We now have a series. But, credit Boston for not giving up...and Chicago's horrid D...and suspect goaltending by Crawford in regulation.
But, he made the stops needed in OT...Still, I'm sure Waldorf will love that both no-name goalies gave up 5+ goals tonight.
Gonna go faint now.

The Cup Finalist that gets a new goalie when their current one had a hand in getting them to where they are to start with.
One bad game where he was one-goal better than the loser is good enough for me.
Besides, Chicago signed another "Antti" from Finland. Antti Raanta was the Finnish League's MVP in the regular season and playoffs.
They'll be fine.

With the mistakes the B's made in this one it wasn't even a heart attack game for me. They played bad in the beginning and managed to luck it back to a tie game. They gave up a shorty, bad pinches lead to 2 two 2 on 1's that turned into goals, Lucic had a brief moment where he thought he was Gretzky and tried to pass the puck through the slot through and a Hawk and then had the epiphany moment where he realized he isn't Gretzky when the puck was in the back of the net.
This one was pure frustration.

The Bruins kept coming back despite being down 3-1 and then 4-2. You may call it luck but bounces are bounces and teams need to be able to deal with them when they go against them...your team capitalized on those. So, credit where it's due.
Anyhow, it's a best of three. Let's see who can win 2 more.

LOL...wow, interesting. I thought Chicago was damn lucky to win considering how their PK was awful tonight, Keith and Oduya were both horrid, and Crawford could not catch anything on his glove-side.

As a fan with no horse in the race the game was still entertaining as fawk. But I want more drama to close out this wacky season in appropriate fashion.
Game seven must set a new NHL record for OT's.
Black Label has to gouge Yummy Cake's eye for an eye.
Crawford must catch a ceremonial pitch at a Cubby's game.
Teh Count must be booo'd so hard, he trips on the red carpet.
Stalberg must fight (bitchslapping doesn't count) McQuaid
must propose to during a tv timout.
Rounder has to leg hump Milbury at least once, if not twice.
has to be selected as the fan to take the free shot and win a Crosstour (since we all know thats his favorite car) and can close out his new car thread in epic style.
