^^ You assume Sid is gonna come back the same player....if at all.

It all remains to be seen.

Jagr always had the rep of being a locker room cancer...a primadonna if you will...with a bad attitude to boot.

Well, it's a 30L bottle...It's the Ace of Spades "Midas" Champagne. Supposedly some good stuff.

I read that it was something like one of six bottles in the world, too. Now there's five...here's a picture of it.

"In Pittsburgh, I played there 10 years. I still have a house there. I was too lazy to sell it."

- Jaromir Jagr, who is rumored to be interested in returning to the NHL, possibly with Pittsburgh or Detroit.

and Carter will probably be traded to Columbus for their rd 1 pick + filatov.

jags still has it, for one more season I say do it. hit your 650 goals 1600 points, retire a penguin. We NEED a 2nd line winger soooo bad.

check these lines man:

Neal-Crosby-Kennedy
Kunitz-Malkin-Jagr
Dupuis-Staal-Cooke/Kovalev
Tangradi-Talbot-Conner

I sure hope Chicago trades Toews away for Louuuu. I wish Chicago had a name-brand goalie to help them win a Cup.

Idiots on Boston radio are suggesting trading Thomas "because his stock will never be higher than right now."

Well, it's funny how it worked out for your team. Thomas did lose his job to Rask...and there was talk the guy was on the trading block because Rask would be starting.

Call it fate.

I'll fully admit that after the 09/10 season I was on the "trade Thomas if you can" bandwagon. At that point, we didn't know that he was suffering through a hip injury which kept him from scrambling on the ice.

I think we should keep him now

Your former non-brand name goaltender was a fluke.

Either that or he got bit by the guppy curse.

Luck usually will run out one way or another in the Cup playoffs.

Goalies are important, I agree...just not the be-all end-all to a team's quest for it. Ask Vancouver that when they decided to throw a king's ransom at Lou. Clearly, if the rumors are true, the Flyers want to go this route as well.

I mean, my team thought that worked when they threw the farm at Bulin and then Huet. Ask them how that worked out.

I agree with their belief that you don't need to put that much %-tage of your salary cap into a goalie. A decent, serviceable one is adequate...as proven by Niemi.

Point being typically big name big contract goaltenders get you to the finals, and one of them won the cup.

Really? You want Kennedy on the top line, and Conner to stick around? And you're making room for kovy, and you expect talbot to stick around? You have much to learn padowan

^ well it's yet to be seen who stays and who goes...

Kunitz and Neal are both LW so they can't play on line 1 with Crosby. Neal was brought in for Crosby and Kunitz will play with Malkin.

Staal will be 3rd line center unless you want him on 2nd line RW and then put Jagr on the first line.

I don't expect Kovalev or Talbot to be with the team any longer.
