Umm ya, last I checked I was never GM of the Leafs or named John Ferguson.

And since when does being from the city where a team made a bad trade disqualify me from offering an opinion? Maybe if you visited this thread more often you'd know that most in Toronto never liked that trade.

Is that band wagon still going? These Boston bandwagoners are worse than the ones from Chicago last year.

But you have only come in here because they made the Finals and won the Cup. Maybe you'll stay around and talk about hockey and not just gloat that a team you route for won a Stanley Cup.

Actually I know all about bandwagoners, I've had season tickets for 14 years now. And we had plenty of bandwagoners jump on board, but that's gonna happen when you go to the playoffs 6 years in a row and make it to the finals twice

Plus I wasn't referring to you directly, I've seen boston bandwagoners popping up all over the place

Number of posts in a hockey thread on a car forum don't determine bandwagoner status.

That said I'm sure we have a lot of people who jumped on the bandwagon because of this years run although IMO the Boston area locals will always show support of their teams when they make a run at a championship but I think it's about local pride. I could give 2 shits about football or basketball but I do get excited when the Pats or Celtics make the playoffs.

Nothing wrong with jumping on the bandwagon either, as long as you don't jump off when the wagon hits some bumps. That's when real fans are born.

i grew up in nh,ma, vt and moved to ohio in highschool. ive had center ice package ever since and go to boston with the wifey to see a couple games every other year. hell, our honeymoon was in december in boston to see 2 bruins games.

I hope that is your place, I really do.

But that pic proves nothing. Do you know how many people come on car forums posting pics of things that aren't their own?

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and believe you and and tell you how cool that looks.

But I'd also like to again point out how dumb your comment directed at me was. Having said that, I hope you stick around. American hockey fans are a rare breed.

Have fun with my 9th pick.

But if you just come in here to gloat that the team you cheer for won. That's being a bandwagoner. You're not part of the every day conversation, you just come in to gloat. We had a few Blackhawks "fans" do that last year. They went and haven't been in here since.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think hey should trade him nor do I believe they will. But trading a 37 year old goalie with huge value AND hip issues should at least be given some thought...if the opportunity arises.

short of adding you on facebook, not sure how id prove it. i could do that i guess and then defriend you after you check it out. kinda creepy having someone i dont know as a friend.

i just took offense to the "get rid of timmy" talk. i was saying the same thing last year before finding out he was hurt, but the season before and this season proves he is a warrior.

there is no rush to move rask up yet. he held his own last season but its time to ride the guy that gives you the best chance to win and that is tim for the forseeable future.

shame on me to kick dirt back at you but it just seemed like you were writing him off as if all of this was luck and dump him for someone else.

No need to prove anything. Like I said, no problem giving you the benefit of the doubt. Stick around and talk hockey.

Not at all taking a shot at Thomas. If Boston thinks they can take another run at the cup then they'd be nuts to get rid of him. But if I'm Peter Cherelli (sp) I'd as least listen if another GM tried to knock my socks off AND I felt Raask was up to the task.

i honestly believe rask is ready to rock n roll full time but its one of those situations where having 2 great goalies can be kind of a pain in the butt. just have to roll with it. with the cap going up and us not having any HUGE holes in the roster and key players already under contract.....no need to dump tim or rask. i would understand if the needed a key piece somewhere but that is not the case yet

and gauging rask on last years epic fail against philly is not fair either. he had a great season and a great playoff run wit what was in front of him.

I still think they could use some scoring help, never hurts. Can't really rely on Savard anymore and we can't forget how bad the power play was throughout the playoffs. Although Seguin should only get better and pick up some of that slack.

No doubt. Depth at goal tending is a great thing to have.

totally agree on the offensive help. wouldnt hurt and would take pressure off defensive forwards to score.

im all for having them sign kabs again with a discount. with a full regular season to work with our coaching and training staff....he could relaly be something. you can see something in him but his conditioning when he got to boston was subpar and he struggled with the "system" early on.

Poor dog. I hope he wasn't watching last years all star game.

Be interesting to see if the Bruins sign Kabs. I still think he'll somehow end up with 5 mill per.

also i dont think a goalie puts them over the top. #1 he has to stay healthy. #2 defense needs depth as seen in the PO's this year. forward depth looks fine from what ive heard, i dont watch them much

Still shocked that the Flyers just arguably traded away the core of their team. Must be more dominoes to fall here with Philly.
