I'll be the first to admit that in today's game, that theory is out the window with so much goalie turnover and a different style of game.

There goes my promise to stop trying to explain it.

Even an MVP won't get you to admit that one, huh?

And I never read the rambles of a Torontonian nutcase like you. The bitterness of the Leafs has clouded your sense of reality.

Yummy to make yourself feel better.... think of those stats in a different way, you were right. It's just that the odds of a young goalie winning the cup means he's going to win like 200 games and get into HOF. There.. everybody is right. Now expect Niemi to win a couple hundred more games. And that superhero Toews was a -1 in the playoffs..

Your Kings, lost the season series to the Hawks 3-1 last year, dude. Overall, LA was outscored 11-5 in the 2009-2010 regular season series against the Hawks. Not only that, the lone victory from your Kings against the Chicago last year was from a shoot-out: 2-1.

Sorry...try again. Not sure what you're talking about. Must be some sort of alternate universe.

You REALLY did hit your head!!!!!!

I was talking about the Preds...Kings V Preds.....Hawks V Preds.

Kings are essentially the same team as last year and have no trouble with the Preds.

Your team's (according to you) worst enemy is the Preds.....I don't get it.

The "high and mighty" Hawks fear the Predators?

...and what does this have to do with Kings V Hawks series last year?

Nice try, bud.

You're now twisting it so that you're talking about the Kings and Preds from 2009-2010. Sure. Look at what you wrote and see how I could've derived that...I was talking about Chicago versus LA and you responded by saying this:

I dunno what that means....we have the same team as last year...essentially....and yet last year we won the series.
Sounded to me like you were talking about Chicago.

But, FINE. No worries...I can play that game. I suck at English.

You still don't know what you're talking about (so, YOU hit your head). Your Kings got slapped up and down the ice by the Preds in 2009-2010...So again, I'll ask what alternate universe are you swimming in...?

Proof? Here: http://kings.nhl.com/club/schedule.h...amp;gameType=3

Overall season series in 2009-2010 between your Kings and Preds: 3-1 for Nashville.

One more thing...Where the hell have I ever come across as saying the Hawks were high and mighty...?

Find that quote. I'd love to see it.

All I said was I was not as worried about a 1st round series against the Kings because they match up well and whoa...you'd think I was going around spewing Acura made beautiful cars.

For the record you were off in myopic land going of the rails and talking about Hawks v Kings....no twisting here.

You are correct however on the Kings v Preds for last year....however we have no issues with them this year....I thought we had an edge on them last year.

....but still your worrying about the Preds still makes me

Perhaps your Hawks should strap some skates on this guy:

You know...as much as I enjoy your humor most of the time, this is where you begin to test my patience again.

Where the heck was I "off in myopic land" as you aptly put it about Chicago versus LA...?

You went off the rails and started talking about Hawks V Kings.....I was still talking about the Preds.

....but you did try to wiggle out by saying I twisted it around...

Statler, you need not lose too much sleep over the scary Preds.

I have good news for you:

Predators: playoff odds down 1.6 to 55.8%

Whatever...like I said, I suck at the English probably, right?

But, know this: I twisted absolutely nothing. I'm not dishonest about what I believe in or what I've said.
Re-read the posts. You responded to Post #27372 which was:

...with this:

So...interpretation: You're talking about how the Kings beat Chicago in 2009-2010. And then, you comment about how I'm scared about the Preds a year later. To me at the time, that's you being as random as you usually are in Ramblings and with two sentences that were not really related.

Whatever...

I believe the Preds are a dangerous playoff team. You think I'm freaking nuts. Fine by me. But, I'm not trying to "insult" your team by saying that I think Nashville is a bigger threat to Chicago than yours, okay? Chicago matched up well against the Kings last year and this year...nothing has changed to prove otherwise in the games they've played for me to change my mind. So, back to what what we bantered about in the previous page? Chicago and LA in the first round? Should be fine...I'm not worried in that sort of a matchup. But, that doesn't mean I think LA sucks either. :shakehead

Nashville? Yeah, they still give Chicago fits even if the Hawks may win.

Anyhow, moving on!

Just ask dom how much I like to remind people when they are wrong.
I still don't know what that means.

PS is just that...a Post script.....I never responded to it, because I was keeping on topic.
I think you got a bit confused....as I am still confused about the dom quote.

Don't fear the Preds....they are ranked 16th and 13th on TSN and ESPN power rankings.

No worries here.....I rarely get my panties in a bunch.

Now tell your team to beat the Stars tonight, and the Kings will put the final nail in the coffin for the Blues.

You're worse than Jonsei reacting to a Pens insult.

This is why its great when your team sucks. People can insult all they want, doesn't bother me one bit.

Kings coach Murray not happy
“You know what the most disappointing, frustrating thing was? At the end of the second period, we were booed off the ice by our fans. That is the most embarrassing thing I have ever been through. That’s the worst I’ve ever been through, in all the years I’ve been coaching. I’ve been behind the bench almost 3,000 hockey games in the NHL, and booed off the ice by your own fans at the end of the second period, here after this road trip, going 4-0 in hard places, very disappointing.”

^^ Old news......cry me a river Terry. Kings have been booed off the ice many times since you have been here in L.A......stop the lies.

That horrible home stand from hell back in January....I was at a couple of those games an contributed to the booing.

Make sure your boys don't get blown out 4-0 to the Blues......make sure they actually put a few shots on goal too.
