Not the Caps fault look at the division and the teams they play most. Everyone in the division except the Caps is in the bottom 10 for HOME attendance. That doesn't give the Caps much of a chance to have good road attendance. Plus with the Caps road record who wants to see the home team lose

Glad I don't have to wait that long. Caps haven't played since the 19th, thank God there's a game tonight, then Sat and Monday.

Since we have not been to the playoffs since 2001, I'm surprised those numbers are that good

In LA we have waaaaay too much to do other than sports....when a team is winning...that's when the stadiums fill up...otherwise, LA fans could care less.

Rangers collect first win at Madison Square Garden in one month.

And apparently pigs have wings!

How can they go four in a row when last week they could not score?

The only people who care are Canadians. Can`t blame the other countries really. They don`t have a chance.

Not to switch the conversation from the World Juniors, but the Blackhawks had another shutout last night-I'm happy to say (Yummy!!!). Maybe the San Jose game was just a little glitch/bump in the road to the Stanley Cup. But they'll have to go through San Jose in the end to get to the Cup.

Clark, Jurcina to Columbus, Chimera to Caps. This also give Caps another 2 million in cap room.

I guess tonight is the first test for the Canadian's...granted the Slovaks wont be much of a match to this years Canadian team. I am still astounded by how much talent the team brings to the tournament every year, its unbelievable.

How in the hell can you leave the leagues top scoring defenceman off the roster? He would excel on the big ice. A mistake IMO.

Regardless, Canada has no shot at a metal. They sealed their fate by putting 4 San Jose Sharks on the team. Choke artist specialists who dissapear in important games. Patrick Marleau? Are you effin kidding me.

I like the Doughty and Toews selections. Neither will see much ice if any but they have to look to the future.

They're playing on North American size ice.

There will always been debates about who did or did not make it. Hockey Canada has assembled a staff of arguably the greatest minds in hockey to pick this team. You can only imagine that with the amount of pressure on them that they have thought of every possible situation and picked the players best suited.

Forgot about the ice. Regardless, he should have been on the team.

They assembled what were the possibly the best minds in 06 and 02 as well..... It can go either way. Second guessing is half the fun.

But I wonder how closely they looked at playoff scoring and results.

I am surprised by some of the omissions. It does not really matter though,...that's our team, so best of luck to them.

Very happy for Bergeron...I know there are a ton of people left out but this guy will really help the team. He is right in between being a superstar and being a role player because everybody knows you cant just throw together a bunch of superstars and expect it to work well. He is very versatile and will be able to play wherever he needs to fit in. He wasn't even invited to the camp in the summer and makes the team a few months later...impressive

I'm a big fan of Bergeron and am happy to see him regain his form after coming off of such a devastating injury. He and Crosby had excellent chemistry when they played together at the World Juniors so they will likely be linemates again in Vancouver.
