I depends on the rink. I play at rink in Parkdale which is around $200 and also at the Leafs new practice facility which is $330 I believe. Big difference in rinks though.

I'm playing on the outdoor rinks almost everyday. Plenty of ice available around here.

What was the score in last nights Pens game Jonsei?

Looks like they want another mid season coaching change.

If I were a Pens fan, I wouldn't be worried.

A Hawks fan, on the other hand, should be a bit concerned. They are peaking at the wrong time.

Speaking of the Pens, I saw a weird Malkin highlight a couple days ago. I don't remember what game it was from. The weird thing about it was how nonathletic he looked. He was lumbering around the ice with his knees locked, looking like a beginner skater. Is he hurt or something?

....and Caps fans, as usual, should be worried about their D and goalie situation. If we don't get a physical, stay-at-home D-man at the trade deadline, we're in trouble.

As a rental player, yeah. In return, Chicago would send Versteeg and Barker...something like that.

It's nice to imagine that but I think the Hawks could use a more stay-at-home D instead of another scorer. They already have 4 lines that can put up points...

Although, if Niedermayer is available from the Quacks, I'd love to see him in a Hawks jersey come playoff time.

Between the three goalies that have played this year, they are doing fine. Though as usually Jose worries me a little. But he looked great last night after being out five games. Coach has told him the two youngster will get his time if he lets down.

On D, they are getting there injured guys back, if they cover the way the can, they'll be fine.

I read a rumor that Souray of the Oil is heading to the Caps for Theodore. Then again, Eklund is often full of sh*t...

He's not a shutdown D-man, but that's also not Boudreau's game.

I think he should make it part of his game....or else we're going to have Crosby standing in front of the net tapping in rebounds again.

Are you really comparing things to last year as a insult? You think I mind a coaching change for another cup?

All I'm saying is 5 years $27 million. Two first rounders and a second round pick.. Just think after the 2013 season the rebuilding can start..

He's in a major slump but there's no rumors of any injuries.

That and the Pens moved him from the wing on the PP to the point on his off hand. There's no chance he can one time it from the point. I guarantee he's frustrated.. beyond frustrated.. Plus it takes away a element on the PP..

Who's injured? According to TSN Varlamov is the only injury the Caps have. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/injuries/

Pothier was the last other than Varley. In Nov and Dec Caps had about 7 players out.

They got rid of their enforcers in the off season I assumed they were just going for the run and gun offense. I think the Caps are in good shape.

Brashear was not resigned, but it's not a run and gun, though it is a speed game.

He hasn't looked right since he sat out 2 weeks to rest is shoulder, he's been attempting slapshots again at least, where he wasn't for a while, he would just pass and pass. But just when I thought he was really hurt bad though he goes out and scores an HT right before Christmas, but he's been spotty with his play. He's still skating strong IMO, but he definitely hasn't been driving to the net and shooting as much.

Nice to see the pens get a win tonight, dom or sg81 go?

Interesting play in the Leafs game tonight with Gonchar scoring a goal and getting a penalty on the same play. Can't say I've seen that before.

Yeah. I was thinking about it last night and I think it's the right play. If they counted Gonchar's original goal then Poni would have never had the breakaway because the play would have been over. Giving the Leafs the PP was a consolation and I think they were lucky to get it. Fucking awesome shot by Gonchar though.

But why does anything matter after the goal? Since when do they offer a consolation? That's what Really threw me off..

The goal wouldn't of counted if there was a delayed penalty. But when you score nothing after the fact matters. They add the goal, move the clock back etc.. I've never seen a consolation prize given

I'm sure they wouldn't be giving the Leafs and consolation if they scored on that breakaway.

It's preferential treatment for the Pens. That's how they won the Cup last year. It deserves an asterisk.

Giving the Leafs a PP when they should have got nothing is preferential treatment for the Pens?

The rule states that you can't have 2 scores on the same stoppage in play, therefore since the goal was scored by gonchar, they gave the penalty and negated the penalty shot. Like Jonesi said it's a consulation prize, they didn't have to award the penalty either, but they knew that dom was in the audience and would start taking heads :dom:
