I'm ok with it Jonsei.
If it was Yummy or Stevens I may have something to say.

Alot of offence for a goalie...
Mind you, Gabs is so injury prone...
Yeah...go for it, Jonesi.

Ok I'm going to accept the trade, I believe I have it set that the league votes anyway so we'll see how it goes.. I wouldn't mind the extra offense as long as Gaborik stays healthy but I also wouldn't mind playing with the goalies I have all season.

I don't have a problem with it...granted its a lot of power up front for a top goalie but give credit to Jonesi for building his team so that he could make a deal like this

It's fine with me. As long as the trade is fair, it doesn't matter who trades with who.
He offered me Nash/Gabby for Price. I said no, obv. I don't need injury plagued forwards.

True...if he can stay healthy and ends up getting traded to a more offense-minded team...
Speaking of which...anyone read on some of the rumors going around? Gabs for Malkin straight up. Gabs for Higgins, pick, and goalie...etc. etc. etc. Nuts.

I hate Turco.
If I started Conklin which I did until a last-minute swap, I think I would be doing better overall in the goalies department.

Dallas is off to a slow start this year. I have the combo of Morrow and Ribeiro in a few pools as I was expecting big things from the Stars this year. Both have been disappointing so far to say the least. I think they'll still come around though.

SUNDIN MOVING CLOSER TO DECISION ON POTENTIAL RETURN
Mats Sundin appears to be moving closer toward making a decision on whether or not to return to the NHL.
However, his agents Claes Elefalk and JP Barry are both downplaying the significance of Sundin's expected trip to Los Angeles.
Everything is arranged in California for Sundin to arrive and begin working out and skating, if he chooses to do so.
According to both, the 37-year-old hasn't committed to beginning what could be a long road to a return, although some close to Sundin are encouraged and believe his intent to go to LA extends beyond his interest in a sunny vacation.
If Sundin begins working out, he insists he needs to be in top condition before opening discussions with NHL teams, so early December is the likely target following 3-4 weeks of hard training.
As many as 10 teams are believed to be interested, inlcuding Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto.
Last season, Sundin enjoyed one of his best seasons, finishing with 32 goals and 46 assists for 78 points in 74 games and leading Toronto in scoring for the fourth straight year.

And no, I don't think he plans on signing with the Kings.
EDIT: He apparently had a physical in a Toronto hospital yesterday.

This shit needs to end. If you're not signed by the beginning of the season or a few weeks after then there should be a cut off. This shit drives me crazy for some reason..

One of his excuses for not wanting to be traded last year was how he felt he needed to be with a team from the beginning if a season to feel like part of the team and make a cup run.
Now its somehow ok for him to parachuted in mid season. I hope he tears an MCL on his first shift. Stamkos should have been a Leaf.

Leafs bench Jason Blake for tonight's game

So I guess there won't be any weak wrist shots from impossible angles tonight. Get this guy the fuck out of here. I think he has problems seeing the play with the massive bags under his eyes. This guy looks like he's just stepped out of a coffin. Get rid of him.
