I'm not exactly sure where this thread took a dive towards US/Canada debate...

But, um...having lived in BOFE countries, I can say they bofe have greats things and bad things...

And seriously, how is this related to hockey again? We have to admit that USA's hockey development programs has improved by leaps and bounds given the number of American-born players currently playing and incoming to the League that are actually very good. It makes sense that hockey was a predominantly Canuckian sport prior given that most of Canada is enveloped in the white frozen stuff for 11 months of the year.

And well, frankly...with so many white people, you gotta be better in sports than the 's in SOMETHING since the latter dominates baseball, basketball, football...and that had more to do with Americans bringing over all the 's they can carry back then.

Canada should've done that.

I'm pretty sure Gretzky and Lamue are ...same as Gordie Howe. Especially given how thuggish the latter can be in games.

I realized this tonight as a culmination of watching this past 3 championship Blackhawks seasons. All the other factors are arbitrary and unimportant.

If the top 2 lines cancel each other out (as it often can happen in the playoffs), the depth wins out and I don't think Tampa can match Chicago's 3rd and 4th-line depth.

Sharp, Teuvo, and Vermicelli on the 3rd line is pretty good. And Shaw, Freddy Kruger, and Desjardins on the 4th? I'll take that.
