I guess I can't argue the facts.

That 3:39 he played last night must have been Orr/Potvin/Coffey/Lidstrom/Keith like.

Speaking of Keith...holy momma, was he amazing these playoffs.

He now has 2 Norris Trophies, Olympic golds, 3 Cups, and a Conn Smythe for his trophy case.

And he never left the ice apparently.

Pfffftttt....

Timonen did more in his 14 minutes of ice over 3 games than Keith has done in a career.

And now that Timonen has proven himself to be a Norris caliber D-Man. The Leaves will promptly sign him to a 6 year 60 million dollar Free agent deal on July 1.

Still was a classy move for Johnny T to hand it to him first, honestly I thought he was a healthy scratch for that game

Very. The man oozes class. If I was gay or Yumchah, I'd have his picture plastered all over my bedroom walls.

Got a signed picture, signed jersey, 2 unsigned jerseys that I wear regularly, and a few t-shirts with his name on them.

Yup, I'd say I have a man-crush on him.

Gotta say it again: Pittsburgh passing on him to take Staal was the best thank-you gift they could ever give Chicago for slapping them around in 1992's Cup Final.

Wasn't trying to.

But, if Toews was a Pen, I can safely say we're all talking about the Pittsburgh Dynasty Part 2 (post-Mario)...

A line-up with Crosby, Malkin, and Toews...? Seriously, I think the rest of the League should just fold.

There's been a lot of talk about that here lately, Toews certainly has shown that he is a higher caliber player than JS ever was.

The Hawks are what the Pens were expected to be if they weren't so badly mismanaged. They won't stay this way with the cap and free agency, but they're the prime example of how to build and manage a team properly as opposed to the bs that I've been fed in the last 6 years. No sour grapes here, happy for Yummy and Chicago

I'll bet Yzerman is wishing right about now he hadn't pumped up Toews tires so much.

Even this die hard Wings fan has to admit what Chicago has accomplished is more impressive than the pre-cap 97/98/02 run Detroit had. And that's without a name brand goalie.

Enjoy it while it lasts because it never does. Babs, Shanaban and domcha are ready to assume the torch. red text implied

Oh, and I claim dibs on the next cup party with

The Blackhawks hired all the right people. I would be surprised if John McDonough is on the list for potential commissioner candidates in the near future. The man is a marketing genius. The Blackhawks are the biggest name in Chicago, supplanting 1990s Bulls dominance, the nostalgia of Wrigley and the Cubs, and the supreme influence of the Bears in the country's most popular league.

You do know what is the easiest marketing tool on the planet in sports, right?

Winning. While McDonough could be credited for being part of the Hawks renaissance, um...well, I gotta say his product kinda sells itself in a sports-starved city where disappointment reigns for all the other teams.

Bears? Comedic.

Cubs? There may be hope but let's see what happens with the kids.

ChiSox? Not since 2005. And perpetually in mediocrity and disappointment.

Bulls? Not going there especially with all the heart-break with Rose's injuries and not being able to get past LeBron EVER.

Downplay it all you want, but McDonough is part of the reason hockey has overthrown basketball and football as the biggest sport in Chicago.

Per what you said: Part of the reason.

So, you're not disagreeing with me. And honestly, Dollar Bill's old methods were out-dated and it did not take a genius to put the product on TV and also bring back some of the Blackhawks legends from the past to reconnect with the old fans.

Again, not HATING on his work...great job..but, it's not difficult especially when building around an annual contending team.

How I can tell if a fan is bandwagoner or not? I make up a fake Hawks player name and see what they say:

"HOLY, did you see the goal Belfour Larmer scored back in 2011 against the Nordiques?!??"

You'd be surprised how many take that bite.

So, if anything will bring Moog back, it's that the Kings Jr. AHL squad won the Calder Cup...which if you know you're wrong all the time, Moog will remind you is the true hockey grail.

And of course, all the name-brand prospects incoming for the Kings. All our teams are doomed. We have no chance for the next decade.
