Mikko Rantanen is a much better NHL draft prospect than Kauko Nieminen. Mikko is NHL ready at 18 and 210 lbs, Kauko isn't going anywhere in this years draft because his game only has 1 gear and he uses it on his speedway racer.

Agreed, they definitely had a nice easy path to the finals, however they're still the top scoring team in the league this year. I think they're going to struggle with that against Chicago's depth at D and defensive style play. But I still expect it to be a good series. I'll say Bolts in 6, I fully expect Chicago to win since they've been there done that, but for once I'm gonna root for the East

The Lightning ticket sales policy is pathetic. Trying hard to keep the Blackhawks fans out. They will fail.

Restrictions on ticket sales (to Florida addresses only) and apparel (No visiting apparel in certain sections). Yikes.

Lots of teams do this during the playoffs, especially finals, and it happens in football, basketball, and baseball as well

Because we've only had 6 teams compared to 24 so less of a chance.

And because the teams have generally sucked at building NHL winners.

So, maybe not so good at understanding the game eh? Basically you see Canadians on every nhl team because Canada has absolutely nothing going for it past hockey. The last time any Canadian was newsworthy for something other than hockey was crack smoking rob ford.

It's ok, I understand the Canadian inferiority complex. I've watched many games on Canadian feeds this year. I constantly see Canadian commercials where they mention their neighbors to the south because their obsessed with us. Watch some hockey on US TV and you'll never hear an American advertiser talk about Canada in their commercials.
