You're certainly not going to win if you don't score. It doesn't matter if you get scored on, you were losing anyway. The Stanley cup championship isn't a culmative goals affair, it doesn't matter if lose 6-3, 1-0, or 1967-1, you still lost.

You don't need to win it in regulation, just get it to overtime so that's 3 goals. I wonder if a team came back from a 3 goal deficit in the final minutes to win a game. Maybe dom remembers if it ever happened before.

Pulling the goalie when there are 5 minutes left & you are down by 3 is what I was referring to, you blew it into a what's that blue line thingee.
I reiterate I think pulling Bishop was a bad move & seeing as all that was accomplished by the empty net was a hat trick clearly not the right call.
As far as understanding why of course I do, thinking it was wrong is my opinion, you are entitled to disagree, don't change a thing.
You need score 3 goals, you don't wait until the last minute to pull the goalie. Welcome to modern hockey with analytics. It's basically been proven that the sooner you pull the goalie the better your chances are.
