He's not a bandwagoner, he's too good for us now. He also caught the clap in 2009 as a result of his manlove for Ovechkin. It was right after yumcha caught the robonarhea from that thing he did with the black market Optimus Prime.

Should be a great game...

I have no true vested interest but since I did pick the Rangers to represent the East (and therefore, picked a pile of Rangers players in my pool), I'm rooting from NY to pull through.

Those stats are IMO, kinda pointless since each game is different and you have generally different players, personnel, coaches...

Not sure what is the point of those. Still, I guess it does help provide some comfort to the nervous NY fans, I'm sure.

Weird thing is Rangers owned the Caps all season.

Granted everything goes out the window come playoff time, but the other series have mostly gone as expected.

Also, that graphic came from ESPN, which I never watch but she may get me to tune in.

I suppose...to me, the playoffs are usually very helter-skelter. I mean, did you think the Jets were going to get swept by the Ducks? How about the Wild by Chicago?

In both cases, many pundits actually had both teams beating their vanquishers and if not, at least going 6-7 deep in games.

The teams are closer and closer that among the contenders, it's getting harder to see a real big difference. Sometimes, all about bounces and well, luck.

Anyhow, the Rangers have one element the Caps don't: Experience. They've been down this hole before making it to the Final...the Caps? They have yet to truly taste playoff success...this is a big intangible and well, Ovie can guarantee anything...but, I think his team's in a world of trouble for failing to close out the Rangers last game at home.

Yeah, not easy for those with a vested interest in the teams playing..but, great television for the neutral fan.

Last year's Game 7 against the Kings/Hawks was stressful to watch, for sure.
