Considering they've been conducting exit interviews, have already made decisions on next years roster (Paille and campbell aren't being resigned), and met with the media today, I'm guessing they're still pickin up Dunkin donuts next year not tim hortons

God no. I don't want anything to do with anything or anyone that is in Boston or has even been to Boston.

But I'm not calling the shots. Its bad decisions like that that have the Leaves where they are. No sign its going to stop anytime soon.

I would imagine they'd be back. It be be foolish to get rid of them after 1 bad year. But I've heard their name comes up in the media the last few days so I threw that out there.

In another year or 2 when the B's still fail to make the playoffs then we can seriously talk about their firing.

Chiarelli, I'd consider letting go but quite frankly I don't see anyone better than julien available to coach.

Chiarelli made the iginla bonus decision, looked good at the time but failed last year and handicapped the team this year. He also seems to be afraid to let a contract play out. He always wants to resign people in the year before. Sometimes I think it would be good to make someone play for a contract in their last year. There's exceptions like Bergeron who you just sign when he's ready but a guy like Looch should have to bust his ass for a solid year if he wants big time money in his next deal. Plus, I like Chris Kelly but not at 3+ million a year.

Does anyone else think Shirelli looks like Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder?

I've heard multiple reports about it. Deano says it happened months ago.

I also heard a certain Tyler Seguin got benched for the last game of the season because he can't show up on time for team meetings. Sounds like te guy Boston traded for being too immature.

Shame on you for buying into domcha's reality distortion field.

Toronno is the Sarlacc Pit of hockey, ain't never gonna happen. Babs will go year to year just like his hero Bowman and put the pressure on his GM to upgrade the talent. He wants to be the best coach of his generation which obviously excludes signing for Shanaban. Obviously.

Sheesh, this thread is making sounds like the crickets of off-season banter already.

Oh wait, some of us still have a team to root for in the playoffs.

Given the parity of all the teams left, it wouldn't shock me to see any higher seeded team get upset in the first round, starting with the Habs.

Nobody cares about the C'awks, they are stale bread. Shush now, we're talking about how much Bab's loves Detroit and this rampant speculation about him in Toronno. Like he really wants to pin his hope on one high draft pick and a bunch of losers just for a big pay day.

Babs is headed to buffalo just like everything else Toronto hopes and prays for like Connor McDavid, making the playoffs and winning the Stanley Cup sometime in the next century.

And it was still a terrible trade by Boston.

I see that Fibs has made his yearly srika like pilmgramage to Hockey Talk.

And much like srika he's clueless about the game and about Babs future.

First Raycroft, then Kessel, then phaneuf, then clarkson and now you think you're qualified to evaluate trades? Stick to curling and poutine cuz obviously hockey's not your thing.

'tis the most wonderful time of the year... Repeat refrain 24 times.

Probably the only thing and fibs have in common is a lust for hot cars and a penchant for dropping hot mixes on a turntable. Unlike srika, I actually grew up playing hockey, can lay a pretty mean fore arm shiver into the boards and can actually afford to buy an Italia or two

Sorry Fibs, just realized how comparing you to Hockey Talk srika was pretty low.

I don't recall making any of those deals or supporting them.

Except for the Phaneuf deal cause that's still a steal.

It's ok dom, you're a product of your environment. Youre like a kid with an iq of 190 selling crack on the corner because your family never moved to a better neighborhood. It's not your fault, you're a victim of society.

If your saying obviously was added to the tags you are obviously oblivious as to how to spell "obviously".

Obviously that is obvious to those who aren't oblivious.
