I read yesterday that when Deano wanted to hire Sutter, Tim Lie-Weekly strongly advised against it and was not at all on board with the hiring. Shows you what Tim knows. Glad he's in charge here.
Surely That Tim Lie-Weekly reference will get Moog out of hiding.

Perhaps he's on vacation...he usually disappears for a few days around this time of year, I think.
Or really, and I'm serious now, he could not take some of his own medicine and did get too bum-hurt.

Tuukka's got a new back up. B's just signed Svedberg to a 600k 1 way deal. The scary part, he's the first ahl rookie to win to ahl outstanding goaltender award since future hall of shamer Jim Carrey in 95

Moogs gonna be "busy" for a while.
Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick underwent surgery this week to repair a wrist injury and will be out 10-12 weeks.

Yeah, I didn't watch it this year. Just waited for the results...no surprises, really.
Although, Keith should never have won the Norris. It should've been Yoykov, Doty, Martinez, Muzzin, Greene, or Free Willy.
Bergeron should never have won the Selke. Should've been Kopidoor. Or Richards. Or Carter. Or Morriofi.
Adams should have not gone to Roy. Should've gone to Darryl.
Hart should not have gone to Sid. Should've gone to Quick, Doty, Kopidoor, and Carter. Combined. Split 4-ways.
Calder should not have gone to the kid in Denver. Should've gone to...wait, who was the Kings' hyped rookie by Moog this year? Okay, whateverhisname is...should've gone to Whatshisname.
And Vezina. Well. Duh. Rask? Pffft...should've been won by Martin Jones and Quick. Co-winners.

Yeah, they were terrible, and PK was the worse "correspondent" I've ever seen, I only watched the last 20 mins or so to see Sid get the Hart
Yeah, by a landslide...

Well, we know Moogy will be back now, to tell us how Bylsma is such a better coach than MJ...
The Pittsburgh Penguins are expected to introduce Mike Johnston as their new head coach at a news conference at 12:30pm et/9:30am pt, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger.
Johnston has worked the last five seasons behind the bench with the WHL's Portland Winterhawks, leading them to a berth in the Memorial Cup tournament in 2013.
Prior to joining the Winterhawks in 2008, he worked with the Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks as an associate coach.
Johnston also coached Canada's entry in the 2009 World Under-18 Hockey Championship and worked for Team Canada for five seasons from 1994-99 serving in the capacity of General Manager and associate coach and finally head coach for the 1998-1999 season, and was an assistant coach at the 1998 Winter Olympic Games in Nagano, Japan.
Johnston has won three gold medals as head coach for Canada at the Spengler Cup Tournament and two World Junior Championship as an assistant coach in 1994 and 1995.
