A very thin coaching pool of "NHL" coaches available.

They should stay away from Trotz.

Bylsma compared to what is available.....ummmm yea.
"Dance with the one who brought ya."

...unless they want to roll the dice with some AHL coach.

Point is, these guys are all pretty much interchangeable which is why you see the same people over and over. Every other league does the same shit. Sometimes you just need change for the sake of change.

Joel Quinville was fired once and now he's suddenly a genius? Its a weird business.

EDMONTON OILERS: Dallas Eakins replaces Ralph Krueger

It's not a coaching problem in Edmonton.

Same for Pittsburgh.

Coaching is not going to solve roster problems that have been there for years.

You don't change coaches for the sake of change, when there is a clear roster issue(s)

The main issue needs to be addressed, and it's not the coach.

...perhaps this is how the Leafs do business...... Now it all makes sense!

Why did San Jose not fire their coach?

Answer: It's not a coaching issue, it's a roster issue.

Fire the GM...perhaps they should have.
Fire the coach? No...that's a bonehead move.

Leafs jokes start in Sept!!

Pitt can only do so much with the roster in a Cap world. That roster isn't changing much. Easier to just change the coach.

GM's need their own man behind the bench. Thus fire GM = Fire Coach.

This, the new GM will clean house and bring in his own guy

That is "if" the new GM thinks coaching is the issue.

Pengoon issues have long been roster issues, not coaching.

Again, the coaching availability in this market is VERY slim.

Who is "better" that Byslma?

Change for change sake is a poor strategy.

And the Pens need a fresh start, you don't leave a rotting sandwich in the corner stinking up the place. Which is essentially what Blysma is right now.
This sandwich has Limburger!!

Regardless of the outcome between the Daffy Ducks and Burger Kings tonight, the starting goalies left standing are: 1 American, 2 Canadians, and 1 Swiss Cheese.

They should all just forfeit since there are no Finlandians left.

Perry and Getzraugh...both are -2.

Looks like a rematch of last season's Western Conference Finals.
