Game sevens. Jeebus. Love them, but damn its painful to watch from the sidelines with no skin in the game.

I almost know what it feels like to be domcha right now. Almost.

So that's the real difference between Pittsburgh and Detroit fans, it's not about the trailer parks or who owns more authentic game jerseys or who lives in whose moms basement. Detroit fans want camel toe picks, Pittsburgh fans like cawk pics.

Do you always spell his name wrong intentionally or do you just not know the spelling?

It's going to be quite the cleansing.

Can't really blame MAF though. One or two bad games but otherwise he wasn't the problem.

In all seriousness, I've said it already: Pens team D stunk. The first goal tonight was on the forwards for not coming back in time.

Whatever it was, big changes a coming that's for sure. They may even trade Rounder for Cabby. Clearly Rangers fans bring that little something extra to the table.

Pens allowed 15 goals in 7 games. Maybe there's something to the Pens fans focus on lack of scoring and not putting the blame on the D.

Sure...if you're not watching and strictly going with just numbers. Many of the goals scored against were due to bad puck support. Again, watch the first goal. How did Boyle get that deep if the forwards were not going for a morning stroll...?

Agreed, Fleury held together all playoffs, only allowing 2 goals when he could have let many more in, and didn't get much help up front at all. 1 goal a game isn't going to win much. I seem to remember someone pointing to the forwards and lack of scoring

Yeah, the forward core is a mess, a bunch of bottom 6 guys pretending to be top 6 guys, AHL'ers with little to no upside but "speed" no finishing touch at all.

Not sure what's happening down in Pitt today, but in the Hockey capital of the world where all the experts are all the talk this morning is on trading Malkin.

Which makes no sense if secondary scoring is the Pens issue. What's the word there? I just want to know if I should start sewing the M on my replica Jersey.

Pens haters rejoice :gheywave:

As I said last year after the Boston series, the Pens needed another direction in coaching. I still to this day don't understand why they didn't let Dan live out the last year of his contract, but I guess he gets guaranteed money on his way to another team. After 5 years of disappointment in the post-season, I'm ready for the shakeup and am interested to see what the team looks like going forward next year. I thought the depth in D would have helped, but they're too top heavy with not enough supporting forwards. Gonna be a pretty different team next year for sure.

I'm 50/50 on them trading Malkin, they would have to get back 2 full lines to make the return worth it. With the cap going up, I hope that they would keep him, but it's hard to say since they are definitely going into rebuild mode. I expect firing the coach to be the first move.

Seriously? Malkin? The guy was all over the place, doing everything possible, while your captain was dragging his feet.
