^^ You kidding, right?

Would have loved to see him on the Kings, however that price was a bit steep for a UFA rental.

No kidding. The guy's a #5 or #6 on LA. So, you should be relieved the Flyers yet again spent their future like it was water to get a depth guy who will walk.

I'd argue he's a bit more than a 5 or 6 with the Kings....keep in mind the Kings have some significant inexperience on the back end after you get through the top guys. Kings have been running Martinez and Muzzin...and they both make bone head moves more often than they should. Not a good thing for the playoffs. Not to mention the Kings are pretty much done with Matt Greene.

...and Willie Mitchell is probably gone as well.

Ah. Okay. Personally, I like Muzzin's game in my limited viewings of the Kings...think he's pretty good.

Greene's lack of speed may be catching up on him? He's not a young pup anymore and has fought tons of injury woes over the last few seasons, right?

Sell 'im back to Edmonton. I'm sure MacT will give up a 1st rounder.

What a stable, model franchise the Vancouver Canucks are. I'm sure most players in the league are just itching to go there.

They make the Leafs looks like the Montreal Canadiens of the 70's

Louu has confirmed the trade.

So Lou and Tim Thomas are now teammates? Someone get the tire pump ready!

So who exactly will be minding the net for the Canucks?

Mike Gillis, wow.

Markstrom is not a bad goalie...but, go figure on the geriatric ward the Panthers have going in their net now with Lou/Thomas.

To think Vancouver was a very deep and elite team just 2-3 seasons ago...arguably one of the best...and now, eek.

Oh well.

Getting bounced in the first round the past two years.
When is enough, enough?

Nope...not since their showing in the Finals. And they truly had that series until they decided to play like @$$clowns and tick off the entire Bruins team from stupid tire-pumping comments to biting.

In 2011 the Hawks choked.
That gave the nucks an easy route out of the west via the Preds and the always failing Sharks.

They've been a mess for +3 years now.

Fire sale was inevitable.

...and Luuuu's gotta be a happy man to not play under that clown Torts any longer.

Kessler is probably on pins and needles....too excited to get out of Vancouver.

Tick-tock on the Bruins or Pengoons over paying for Kessler.

I doubt the B's have any interest in Kessler, the prime concern is a shut down defenseman to fill the void Seidenberg left when his knee fell apart.

Hawks played a good game till the end. Definitely a nail biter. Carly kept the Avs in it for a lot of the game.

Nervous at the deadline. I just want to see Stastny signed to an extension already.

edit. MSL for Callahan is interesting. Guess they couldn't work things out in Tampa anymore.
