Why play in net for the Oil?

 

They are a bigger mess than dom's former fave team, the Leaves. The owner and scouts thinks hockey is played like a fantasy pool roster and drafted all the same "type" of players from top to bottom. And then, they keep changing coaches every season that all the kids are so confused, they don't know what system to play anymore.

While getting Scrivens is not bad, I think your team fleeced the Oilers for a 3rd rounder (good for LA!). And Dubnyk is a high-draft pick...and still young...why dump him so soon? He has been hung out to dry every evening and so, how is getting rid of a goalie who still has potential for a grinder going to help?

Maybe Honda runs the Oilers...

 

Eakins' all-forward PP unit was hilarious. Does he think this is the ECHL or juniors??!?

I even remember telling my buddy when they were against the Hawks that Chicago will score a shorty on the PP esp. if Edmonton stuck to that stupid strategy...lo and behold, that game, Serious scores a shorty.
