Does that mean you're saying that UF will win by more than 14 points, or you're saying that FSU will win by more than 14 points? If it's the latter,

it all varies...($25-250) (Majority being $25-50)
I choose the money I bet on each game by how confident I am in the bet (which is kind of a "duh" statement.)

I hate my gambling...hahaha

Nah, I enjoy it though. Week 8 was fun, I was down $450 going into Monday night...so I put $300 on GB (+3) over Denver, and $200 on the under

That one as you know went to OT...that made things interesting

Ended up $50 for the week, ha.

I honestly end up even more often than not. It is rare I have a week where I lose or win much.

Yeah I can see that happening. I have always wanted to try a parlay system that I thought of.

Bet $20 on Team A, then parlay that to Team B
Bet $20 on Team B, then parlay that to Team C
Bet $20 on Team C, then parlay that to Team A

Have your most "confident" bets at the top, and have about 8-10 different games to bet on.

If team B won then you would split Bet 1 & 2, and lose Bet 3, so you'd be - 1

Edit: It isn't the typical parlay bet where you have to win all your bets to win. I can't think of the term, but let's say team A wins, I would win $20, but then there would also be $20 automatically on Team B's game. So I would split.

Sounds like a "let It Ride" type scenario. Not a bad idea, I don't know what that is called or who would set something up like that.

Speaking of parlays, I stopped those because there were just too many times I would have everything right but one (or one below the min)...and it drove me nuts.

I just started this football season. It's honestly a break-even proposition, unless you really suck. I've had lows and highs, but I'm right back where I started. Teasers and parlays are fun and props give you a reason to watch a game you normally wouldn't. But I only do 20-50 on each game/parlay, once again depending on how confident I feel. With props I stick to 10 since they're more random.

And I'm not limited to football, Jimmie Johnson has made me a few bucks this year too

FSU -14 would mean that FSU would win by at least 14 points.

I used to sports bet a lot about a year ago. I was using Sportsbook.com and Bodog.com. Sportsbook had a lot more prop bets which was fun.

I was playing poker online and winning tournaments then just transferring that money over to online sports betting sites and winning off that. If was fun while it lasted, but I had to get a real job (I was doing this full time to pay bills and didn't have a job). If you get sucked out on (in poker) or lose a stupid bet on a game, it can be the difference in having money for the bills that month or not. I was playing right 95% of the time, but you can still be very unlucky no matter how good you play.

Entertaining game between BC/Clemson. Clemson always seems to find a way to blow it.

What this means for you Illinois fans is you just inched closer to a BCS berth.

OU almost came back tonight, but luckily TT pulled off the win. It should be interesting to see how the Kansas vs. Missouri game plays out. Then the winner vs. Texas/OU in the title game.

I'm also curious to see what the title game will be now. I think LSU is going to lose next weekend. If they can get by Arkansas, then they should wrap it up against UT. If they play UGA though it may be a different story.

Out of all those bets, and a lot of losses (big wins helped) down $125 for NCAA
Hopefully NFL reverses that tomorrow

I can't fucking believe that Vandy came that close to allowing UGA to be SEC East Champs...46 Yard FG would have done it. I know Tenn. beat us, but they aren't a better team, and it sucks that only Kentucky stands in the way of them playing LSU.

IMO you want UT to go to the SEC championship. Have LSU win it, so you get an at large to the Sugar Bowl. I think UGA stands a chance against LSU, but what I just said would be the best case scenario.

As a South Carolina fan, I can attest Vandy isn't a push-over. UT was lucky.

But even though I like UK (because they always suffer like SC), I hope UT beats them next week. No-Shine Moreno and Mark Richt don't deserve a BCS bis after we beat their tails back in September.

Its more personal than anything, I have an annoying ex at Tenn, and shes been giving me shit about how they are gonna win the SEC East...and even though we are ranked higher, -btw, how the hell are we ranked under ASU...I am an ASU grad, and they didn't even play this weekend, that is some bullshit- there is no reasoning with her.

Illinois is going to make it. You have to be within the top 14 in the BCS standings, and they're currently 18th. They won't get any closer than that.

I would rather have UGA win the East, lose to LSU, and we (UF) might be able to get the at-large bid for a BCS bowl.

Actually they are 17th in the BCS standings, and they have a good shot at moving into the top 14. It might be far-fetched but they may get into a BCS game by default.

Why? Because conferences can only have 2 teams eligible for a BCS bowl.

Right now in the top 14 are:
Big 12 - 4/only 2 make it
Pac 10 - 3/only 2 make it
ACC - 2/BC losing a game is where this "up for grabs" BCS slot comes in
SEC - 3/only 2 make it
Big East - 1
Big Ten - 1

Now for that far-fetched part.

VT must beat Virginia
BC needs to pickup another loss/this would put them out of the running and opens up an at large bid
USC over ASU and UCLA
Then BSU plays at Hawaii therefore putting one of them out of it.

A few of my scenarios could be off, and I realize this sounds crazy to some folks, but the possiblity is real.

If Florida doesn't get an automatic bid, and there are two SEC teams ahead of them in the BCS, by rule, they cannot get into a BCS game.

Does Florida still have a shot at the SEC champ. game?

No. It comes down to Tennessee @ Kentucky. UT wins they go, if they lose UGA goes. Florida was eliminated last weekend because UGA & UT won.

Well then, considering LSU and Georgia probably won't fall below Florida in the BCS rankings, Florida has no shot.

So then considering the SEC has a championship game, does the BCS automatic bid go to the winner of the conference at the end of the regular season, or the championship game winner?
