Some people seem to think that if OU wins, KU and UM will both get overlooked for a BCS bid. WOW. I still think Missouri gets in, but KU won't get taken over Missouri. Even nuttier is if OU wins, Illinois goes to the Rose Bowl, and UM(who beat ILL) and KU stay home, with the Fiesta bowl choosing ASU to play Oklahoma.
What makes this even more mind boggling is Illinois is sitting at #15 in the BCS standings. Most likely they will move into the top 14 at the end of this week. Apparently the Rose Bowl committee is hell bent on having a Pac-10/Big-10 matchup because of the $$$$$, and if OSU moves into the NC, Illinois is going. Being ranked 15th they are projected for 3 different BCS games right now, with different scenarios putting them in each.
Shall I mention Georgia could sneak into the NC game too.
If I was the Sugar Bowl, I would be furious I am going to have to take a Hawaii team if they beat Washington. They can only hope they get LSU too, because somebody is going to need to make up for the lack of dollars Hawaii is going to bring to the table.
This weekend of games will be interesting.

Holy shit Oregon just fucked up.
It was tied 28-28 and they blocked an Oregon State field goal, then drove the whole field but missed their 53 yard field goal but wait. Someone on Oregon State jumped on the pile late and got a 15 yard personal foul. Then ran it one time to get in the middle of the field and then just rushed the kicker out there and he never got set and missed it. It's going to overtime now.

That was incorrect, and you can read the post above this as to why. I should have said Kansas, but I can't see the RBC picking a team like Kansas out of tradition alone.
I also can't believe Mizzou goes from #1 today, to completely out of the BCS tomorrow.

The entire state of Hawai'i is completely behind UH football. It gets pretty rowdy around here during the games. I swear every bar/restaurant on the island with a tv was going crazy today.
I can't imagine how it'll be WHEN they make it into their first ever BCS bowl.

Good for Hawai'i, I was able to make it thru the 3rd qtr last night but I fell asleep.
No chance Georgia plays in the NC, they didn't even win their division.
The bartender last night was bitter because she already spent $800 on a non-refundable trip to see WVU in the NC game. Oh well.

I agree, I feel that Georgia should be in the NC. I think it's rediculous that they do not get it if they don't.

I don't think UGA deserves it. They got spanked by UT, and beaten @ home against USC. They didn't win their division, and thus don't deserve to play in the NC game. Just because they are the hottest team now doesn't mean they get to play for a NC.
