rained almost all day in hillsboro. I will say having the new coilovers has made me fall in love with the car all over again...

 

Turned out good. Paint cracked in two spots, and they were where they were getting rubbed on...so oh well. Im gonna pick up some touch up paint.

Also need to try and pull where the bumper meets the fender to even out the transition. Couldnt get the roller to that point because of the BBK.

I trust the guy doing it. Hes done countless cars + his GTR


For 10$ ill go across the street take a candid pic of his car with my phone.

he's usually down for 2 hours - 2.5 hours sometimes 3 if I play my cards right! lol Wife (mama) can watch him for a bit if he gets up early.

I have to jackstands so if you want to get the whole car off the floor at one time bring 2 extras.

eh I left it where it's at, got the car up and found that turning the damn shock body would take me hours to do all 4. So 2.25" drop will have to suffice unless I go to speed and have them do it. Plus I noticed if I lower the rear much more when I get an alignment I could run into some rubbing issues and I just don't want that

should of gotten your phone unlocked... i unlocked my razr from tmobile and come to find out it wouldnt matter anyways since verizon uses a different network.. I am bummed about that

It would be much easier if I could turn it with my hands, but the way the teeth are on the collars I can get barely any turns with the forks before hitting things lol.

I might get it another shot later when I have more time to really get in there, take off the wheels and what not instead of just jacking it up and working around the wheels.

 

ohhh lol. I assumed you took off the wheel but understand now. Tons easier taking the wheels off and should take 10-15min per wheel to do.

About a .5 finger gap even though it's hard to see that in the pic.

 

I'm about an 1/8" below that curb you see in the pics on the lowest part of the lip close to the wheel. The curb is about 4" tall

 

looks great and i didnt see any dirt
