Anyone got any info on those E3 plugs? Was watching HotRod TV a couple months ago, and they actually saw more HP with less fuel consumption.
is replacing spark plugs a requirement after the seafoam?

heres something about E3... http://www.autobloggreen.com/2007/10...-money-on-gas/

i'd go with denso plugs. or wanna try out pulsestar plugs?

Kyle give me a call tomorrow when you're ready to go.

lotta tl guys gained mpg after the seafoam and its only $8.99 at the Joe's. that's about $60 savings compared to jiffy lube's fuel system cleaning service.

Second Gen TL owners typically go for NGK Iridiums. They've found that Densos don't last as long. Is it different for Third Gens?

The 2nd Gen TL'ers reported sluggish response from the Bosch Fusions and poor life from the Densos. I'd say that 90% of them end up with NGK Iridiums.

Are spark plugs a pain to put in on the TSXs and 3rd Gen TLs? Front 3 = cakewalk, 10 minutes for all three. Back 3 = pain the butt, 45 minutes-1 hour

Is it your lip the scrapes or the Air Damn? I stopped paying attention to scrapping a long time ago. The air damn costs 7$...

Kyle - definitely the lip lol, measured last night, if I go to far in my garage I'll have a nice 1/8" scrape on it.

i have a couple of guns, bought them at all different places though. I usually get em at the Rose City gun show every year.

So go so low that people cant see the scrapes without being on the ground

-------------------------

So last night i went out to my car to go somewhere after 2 days of not driving it. Hit unlock button, marker lights struggle to blink and none of my interior lights turn on.

Head hanging ensues.... Get in my car, none of my gauges light up. I check anything that could have been left on and there was nothing left on.

So i go to pop my trunk to get my jumper cables and my car is so damn dead that it cant even pop the trunk release.

Once i got another set of cables i got the car jumped, cranked right over with no problems. So at this point im thinking that my alternator is shitting the bed, but as soon as i start driving around my volt meter is reading 13.8-14.0 volts. That shows that the alternator IS charging...so im stumped as to what it could be.

This weekend was sorta chilly, but i just got this Optima Yellow Top 2 months ago. Guess ill go get the battery checked out.

sorry no pics yet everyone, way to busy yesterday, did manage to give it a bath though.

Kyle - I had an alternator go on me in my 99 accord a while back, had only 30K on it. However; when it did all of my dummy lights on the instrument cluster were lit up and there was no charge. However; even with my stereo (2 12's, 2 amps, and a screen) Honda decided it was still within OEM draw limits so they replaced it under warranty. Good luck though, makes me shy away from Optima batteries.... Not to mention it was colder than piss last night. iGoogle is reporting 29 here in hillsboro right now!

Chris-

how does it ride?? did you set them soft or hard?? you should just take a quick shot of it to show- we wont mind the dirt...

or just make it black and white and no one will know...works well if u make sure ppl dont touch your car when its dirty lol

Rachel -
I have the fronts set to one full turn off of full soft and the rears set to two full turns off of soft. My initial impressions are that they are considerably stiffer than OEM with H-Techs, however; they are much smoother, the bumps are not as pronounced, so you don't get that hit a dip then bounce 3 times before smooth again, now you hit it a bip it bounces once and that's it. Brake dive has been significantly reduced as well as body roll. All in all I am quite pleased and kicking around the idea to go a lil bit lower! Depends on how hard it is to adjust them at home. No need to go to speed and pay them to drop it a quarter inch more lol.

I'll shoot some pics here at work and post em up later today after lunch
