I own my own house, but I brought my car to a Kaady Car Wash on Friday.

I've been sick all week with the flu, and even though the weather was warmer and drier than it has been, I just wasn't up to being outdoors to wash my car, and I didn't want to drive a dirty car anymore. I did vacuum the interior myself though.

So i figured out why i still have have a slight fog issue....

Popped the hood and reached in and grabbed the backside of the fog light bulb....the fitment is so loose, so ive got a few differnt sized O-Rings and sheets of O-ring material to make my own if needed....so now its just try and find time to take the front end off to get to the back of the lights

again...

Kyle have you just considered a different brand of bulb? It'd be a shame to go through all of that work when a different brand could fix it...

ive never seen maintance with a hose - nor a hose spicket. the only one is in the car washing area and its shut off so when it freezes it doesnt break - i think i just need more friends who want to wash their car even if its cold out lol

New bulbs are not free. lol.

Its sad because i hardly use my upper fogs anymore, partly to do with the added heat adding fog, but with my new lenses its a shame to wash out the housing with yellow.

Either way id have to take off the front bumper to replace them. When i do change them ill just drive around without the front bumper for a while and see how it goes.

depends on your definition of "slam" as low as Kyle, probably not, I do enjoy going places where there is a threat of speed bumps

Def about an inch - inch and a half lower than I am now, maybe just a hair bit of tuck

But a Steel skid plate = more weight

more weight = lower car

thats why i said titanuim.. strong as steel lighter than alluminum.. plus it will help with your aero dynamics less wind speed.... i would do it to mine but the cost is rediculious

I think titanium skid plates are a bit much lol. At that rate might as well create an entire tray out of CF and have the whole bottom of your car be covered for better aero dynamics, then have a wind tunnel test.

true that but if you scrape carbon youre gonna have to re-epoxy later (makes it a pain) least with the titanuim you scrape and its gonna take the abuse alittle better
either one is gonna save weight and give good aero dynamics.. carbon would take more work to do too.. but its more cost affective..

damn i just need to win the lotto now

Even though I get to work before you do, you usually have more interesting posts and are better able to relate to those in this thread that have 3rd Gen TLs or TSXs.

I'm usually a troll, just reading most of the posts and not posting anything.
