it'll sure grab some attention with that noise

seems like you might go home with at least one trophy (best acura) from the show

My guess is that some JDM'd out Honda/Acura will take that honor.

So stiffening up the damper settings helped out the front tire rub issue, but didn't entirely get rid of it. 98% of the time there is never any rub so that other 2% of the time I suppose I could slow down....

Roll fenders.

How much tread life you have left? You could get a narrower tire width if its close to time for new rubber.

unfortunately they still have at least 75% life on them so can't justify new rubber until spring or summer. Plus with all of these xmas expenses can't afford a nice set of rubber lol. But yeah a lower sidewall would resolve the issue entirely.

It's not a hard enough rub to hurt the fender liner or the tire, just enough to make a lil noise in the cabin when it happens and so far it's been only on one turn since I stiffened it all up

Even a slight rub will rub away paint after a few times. So keep a eye on that.

I don't think it's rubbing on the paint though, I think it's more of a rub on the liner than anything

Did you lower the shock body or the collars on the coils?

Was talking to Dan about adjusting the shock body and we both came to the decision that yea its cool because it lets you retain spring rate/travel. But having the same travel with less room raises the possibility of ripping out inner fender liners.

Id keep a eye on it if it is rubbing the fender liner.

lowered the shock body but stiffened up the dampening rate to compensate a bit. I have only experienced the rub on one corner on the way in particular, otherwise I have no rub anywhere else I go...so the moral would be to just slow down on that turn

1. Black or Dark Grey
2. Loud...People can hear them down the street...like way down the street.
3. Not so much a stretch as in coke can looking. But just run a series smaller.

Both my wheels are 8.5in wide. Yet on my ASPECs im running a 225 because they were on my brothers RSX for a while and he put the tires on. Yet my 235's on the Volks look more "stretched"

So Chris's 235s now rub slightly so a 225 shouldnt rub at all.

arg, ride height is all f*cked up. So I noticed that I was hanging a bit low on one side, so went about adjusting it, then the other side was low, so dropped a bit on the side I raised, needless to say it's all freaking wierd now. So I think I'll just take it to speed and have them level it out and call it good, no more messing around with it.... arg I hate this type of thing. Makes me feel all self concious driving it cause it sits all funny....
