Hey guys! Lookin like we are gonna have some snow this weekend. All of next week is gonna be cold as hell too, highs in the low 20's. Here comes winter!

I wanted to ask you guys where you went locally to get your windows tinted? I wanna get mine done here soon but thought I would see where you guys went and if you were happy with their work.

 

1. There is one across from Fred Meyer on Cedar Hills.

2. No need. Ill most likely have the front end from a UA7 though.

3. No leaking. The reason i would get fogging was from a old ass Silica Packet. That has seemed to go away though. Havnt fogged for a while now. But when it did it was a small line of fog and the bottom edge. Nothing like the whole housing being fogged out.

No Navi for me.

bah there wont be any snow, every time our weather forecasters predict snow they fail miserably and when they say no snow it snows like 6 inches. I'll believe it when I look out my window and see white ground lol

With a 6mt UA7 You can make around 295+ HP with Pre-Cat/Cat Delete,Jpipe, CAI, Spacers,Pulleys, Throw in ATLP and youll be close to 300hp if youre lucky.

Red guages.....you can keep em. Ill stick with Blue.

red gauges in the TL = rice

dunno why, but the TL should maintain that luxury fit and finish and red just seems to racey for it

I prefer the red needles with the blue background.. IMO

for the snow.. i think we will get 3-4 inches and thats it.. but they are saying wed night thursday we are suppose to get more.. so that will be interesting

 

When i test drove a g35 and a 350z it was all gravy untill you look down at the gauges and you see that shit orange/redish color

 

I like the RSX gauges but they're not amazing - mayb cuz im just used to how bright mine are...when i drive the rsx at night i feel like im in a cave sometimes. plus no nav and accent lighting i guess that makes it a lot darker.

i dont like the blue gauges so much in the TL maybe they should be cool and put all amber in...just cuz they wish they were JDM haha

you can always get some leds and resolder them to the color you want.. nothing wrong with alittle custom work right?

 

mine came tinted.. which reminds me i wanna get it redone.. who ever owned the car before me took it to a crappy place cause i can see small scratches in the tint

I have to take my TL there once i take my tint off - someone did mine in reflective - greenish reflective at that

now the delima of how dark can i get away with - i had 20 on my tc and only got pulled over once.

but i was pulled over night before last at like 130 am for no front plate - who the hell pulls over a tl for that?! - i hate bored cops - and i really dont need or have the $$ for more stupid tickets

 

not in down town --its just freezing! i just got back from the window shopping the mall

i think someone may have died on 5th and taylor tho there were a mill cops ambulances and fire trucks

 

how much is the ticket? cant you just put the plate on take a picture and show the judge it is on it now? I hate chicken ass tickets

yep take a pic with the plate on, take it to the judge or even the clerk and you're off the hook.

ya except they dont do fix it tickets anymore...they havent for the last mmm 8 months or so...something about ppl were cheating the system

 

oh and as for working every time you can only get a ticket for the same thing so many times - my friend lost his license cuz he had so many no front plate tickets haha what a weak story

 

hmm I haven't had a ticket in over 5 years, however; Kyle heard the story I was one of the top offenders.

as for a front plate ticket I can't imagine they would actually fine you for it if you put it back on, you just tell the judge "I dunno" and comply.

i took mine off since i got the front bumper redone.. my thing is... you dont see the new caddilac CTS's with front plates.. wonder what they tell police when they get pulled over...

I haven't had my front plate on since I bought the car in 06 and NEVER been pulled over, that includes never in Eugene, never on the I5 corridor, never in Beaverton, Tigard, Lake Oswego, Portland, or hillsboro and I've passed and been passed by lots of police.

 

Agh DAMN Penn State! I was really hoping we would get a rematch but we came out and fell on our asses against Oregon. The way we played that game we dont deserve to even be in a Bowl game. You a Penn State Fan?

Well I figured I would drive somewhere to in Portland to get it done, I don't mind going up there to get stuff done. Aren't many options around here where I'm at.

 

they do - but I wouldn't reccomend going there - not that they dont have a good tinter but because the shop is dirty/dusty and that will get in your tint and i dont think tony is big on re-doing all the windows on ur car?

ya its a $325 ticket...i got one twice...funny i got a warning then a ticket then a fix it ticket 3 times then probably like 10 warnings then a ticket again. i hate cops - but i do get pulled over often...im glad those tickets dont mess with ur ins rates ugh my 2 speeding tickets make it high enough

 

alexias in beverton is where i got my civic done.. and they did a great job... they do the fleet cars for dealerships and stuff too..

 

I've had a few friends get their tint jobs done there as well. They recommend 'em.

 

I did it for a friend of mine. I just changed a few screens to the bitmap files he wanted.

 

and yet guys still have higher premium rates with insurance.. youre a prime example of why women should be the same hahaha.

dont even get me started on tickets.. my rap sheet is so big the judges from portland and beaverton know my name..
and my top ten best thing i hear when i get pulled over is "your driving record is so bad i hate to write another ticket"

 

I've lived here since '03 and only been pulled over once. And it was in Corvallis, no ticket and no reason given. Must have been looking for someone with a similar car
