exhaust sound is toned down a bit. less resonating vibrations and cleaner bass from stock sub. but drone is still there.. most thing it improved was road noise and inside cabin is much quieter than before.

i think i spent little more than 10hours working on the whole car. others might do faster, but i do really slow to make sure there are no air pockets. and its definitely worth it since it killed lotta road noise and car feels much more solid.

weight shouldn't be a much problem. a whole roll was only about 26lbs and they are evenly distributed throughout the car.

Needs to be white....or Black. Thats the only colors i would get a MDX in.

The girlfriend is looking for a SUV right now, but doesnt want to pay so much for a MDX. So im trying to talk her into get a Subaru Lego Wagon. They look pretty damn good when modded right.

i know pic sucks...but

a3 looks nice in/out plus new option to have quattro. but if you get into one of them, you'll be surprised by how small its inside.

Hello guys lol... Im kinda MIA on the boards lately. Anyhow, i got spc rear camber to install sometime this weekend and also my front and rear Aspec kit
came in today. Got a good deal on it since it had a small blemish on it that i can touch up. Other then that, i have my sisters TL i have to lower next week.

Chris, i put the ballasts inside the bumper rebar. 3Mdouble sided tape so its not going anywhere.

^^ did you screw yours in too? or just 3m tape?? i would be worried the tape would wear off since that area sees most the rain and dirt from the road while driving

also forgot to mention that the rear camber can be a pain to put on if you cant get the control arm off.. not sure if the SPC is an upper arm or lower arm

I gotta actually have mine aligned lol, have an SPC rear camber on it but never taken it in, just haven't had time, bleh...

Kyle - do you mean inside the rebar like facing the engine, or facing the back of the rear bumper?

buy the slim hid kits. balasts of slim versions are light and really slim you can just zip tie them anywhere.

here's a pic of old version vs. slim

is there that much of a weight difference between the 2? doesnt the slim have another small box that goes with it also?

much difference between the two. plus older one is much bulkier and takes up longer time finding a spot to be placed.

and another small box is "small" and doesn't need any support. they can just dangle around or you can just zip tie them together with other wires.

search ebay for "slim hid conversion" and they have kits under $100. jhid conversion kits are dirt cheap these days

red area is where the ballasts are mounted behind the rebar. its taped and zipped tied now that i thought about it. Almost all balasts are water tight now a days so rain is not a problem.

well... my week just started. been sitting at home past four days with two tendons in my left ankle torned. just started walking again

btw...
thinking about going back to stock exhaust with dual walled tips. love the performance gain from the straight flowing mufflers but can't stand the drone @ 2000rpm. wonder how much people are willing to pay for two magnaflow mufflers with ATLP quad tips tacked on. anyone interested locally?

considered adding an extra resonator? Could help the drone and keep that nice look and sound you're after.

Welcome back to life on two legs
