yea. i forgot the model number but it was a bigger one like rt35 if i remember correctly. i had a system in my tsx back than so i beefed up the battery but it was more than plenty. stock sized yt is hard to find and not sure if they are still discontinued.

if you go for heavier ones, you'll feel the difference in handling. so unless your going to power up the huge system, i'd go with ligher ones.

and tb bypass won't be a problem. others proved that its fine during the winter.

 

Holy Spotted's on the way home from work today.

1. SSM 3rd Gen TL with ASPEC kit and lip spoiler on shute rd
2. NBP 3rd Gen TL with Black/Chrome lip wheels on hwy26
3. NBP CL Slammed on chrome 18/19's exhaust on i5 (so clean)

Finally i swung by this shop that i always see driving home to see what they were. Turned out to be a ATV shop.

But....sitting in the parking lot was

4. AM 3rd Gen TL with 20'' tsw Sakata 5's, type-s tails and markers, lowered on ASPEC suspension.

Owner is a guy named Jamie (sp) that works at the shop. I gave him the address to Azine and told him about the Oregon Chat so hopefully we will have another Oregoneeer soon

What up Minkl and everyone else! I have been on Acurazine for awhile now but just got my TL S a little over a week ago from a lady in Oregon City. I didn't even know this section was over here for guys from Oregon. I am down in the Valley, living in Albany now to be exact.

Would anyone be able to help me install a CAI? How about with my headlights, I wanna black them out maybe and get switchbacks in.

rant for the day - german car drivers suck! this ass clown road my tail literally almost touching it up shute road this morning, no traffic next to us he could gone around but instead decided to be your typical german car driver. I tap my brakes to get him to let up so the ass hole high beams me! WTF? so I move over and he gets next to me gives me some dirty look and floors it.

What an ass, looked like some 40 - 50 year old mid-life crisis butt pirate. Doesn't he know that corvettes are for seniors with no hair, and a lack of commitment below the waist band?

As Min said i had my headlights done by JNC. It is not that hard of a mod to do, but it takes time to do properly. If youre going to do it yourself, id suggest doing it when you dont need your car for a day or so.

If you want to make a quick swap of it. Id be up for trading

They are blacked out but the Orange Diffuser is still in place.

Trading would involve swapping out some wiring as well since you have DRLs. Was more of a joke than anything. I will one day like to get some TypeS lights though.



As for shop. Im pretty sure everyone here will point you to Speed Concept in Aloha. A number of us have been there time and time again, and with having worked on atleast 3 3rd Gen TLs they have a knack for it now.

you have to add native beaverton women drivers.. in general too hahaha.. everytime and i mean EVERYTIME i am in beaverton there is always one that either stops for no reason what so ever.. orrrrrrrrrrrr they try to go down a street the wrong way specially at the 185th and TV high where the Big lots store is and someone think the turn from heading south to go east is a turn from north to go west..
