I was the one who said the 2G TSX is better looking than the 1G.

Brandon, the mesh I wanted is three dimensional honeycomb. That's what pissed me off, I don't know where to get something like that (and I would want to look at it first to see if it fits my specs).

They are OEM 07 Base Taillights, why would they look APC, lol I don't like the Type-s taillights, but I do have the Type-S rims on my car

47x11 Inches. big enough for my needs. Now lets see if RJ will lower the price.

Now I'm really confused. The before shot is Type S lens?

^^ He has the 04 - 06 TL with all red tails, then assembled the 07 OEM tails to it cause they're cooler and such. Then he's running TLS wheels, and if he does the Type-S bumper conversion he'd have hype-s.

That is somewhat correct lol... I wont have the exhaust, interior, 3.5 engine.

I drive this car everyday and enjoy driving it, dont really want to mod it much more....

I have a Porsche project car that all my money will be getting dumped into lol

I wish we could get a specific yes or no on the snow. I Really don't want to get the snow tires down unless I have to.

I found a place in detroit that'll do it, but obviously you have to ship them and it's not cheap to get it done.

If I was to ship it vrwheels or Memoryfab would be my next choice. I just want a local shop so It would be easier to see my choices and results. It just feels better knowing you can be there and fit the wheels on my car just for clearance.

is it dented that bad? (cant even get air to stay in tire) or is it minor something you would see if you hit a deep pothole? and just has a bend to the wheel?

Yep, can't get up or down this hill in the snow/ice. Sometime I have to chain up too.

Looks like freezing rain/ice. Going out to the garage right now to put the snow tires on. Was going to do the intake also but I can't find any reflective tape to wrap it in. Anyone know where to get some locally? I hate to pay shipping on something small and light like insulation tape.

This is actually what I want:

It's a heat sheild that keeps the CAI from soaking in all that heat from the engine bay. Unlike header tape which will absorb the heat, this reflects it away from the intake.

I'm also cosidering a turbo cover, I mean while I'm down there...

Speaking of going down there, In the spirit of me posting pics of my ex-girlfriends...I found this picture of the girl I moved to Portland for in the first place:

Yes, she is dressed as a peice of meat. Not just any meat, my former lover is in a bacon suit holding a dozen white ballons (which I presume are white fat cells). Yes, in true keep Portland weird form, she is protesting the dangers of eating meat.
I'm so glad I dumped her.
Because I love bacon, bitch.

When I want to wrap intake piping, I always use this stuff.

http://www.homedepot.com/buy/plumbin...pe-153843.html

Have used it on a bunch of my cars. The adhesive is a monster, will never let go. That's a good/bad thing. Won't come loose in the engine bay, but if you ever wanted to remove it, good luck with that.

Perfect, I have already have a foil duct tape I could run over the top of if I want. That actually looks good just the way it is. As long as it doesn't melt it should work fine.

Hey, HEY...don't bring up the S2000. That's a sore subject around here. Kinda like the Trans Am I wanted. It was a Barry White special. He has great talent and turns old classic muscle into modern hot rods:

typical oregonians but causes major traffic thanks to them

on the morning commute, saw a jetta with chains on fully wet road. chevy malibu with california plate parked on the middle of the road causing major traffic jam. seemed to be out of gas and not prepared for longer commute when it snows.. and for the last, few cars driving over the curbs maybe because they cant see.

oh also eastbound 26 is fully clogged too

Left the house at 7AM, got to work at 9:20. Wake up Portland. Apparently some people here in PDX have a short term memory problem. Wasn't it just 3 years ago that the entire city was shut down to everyone WITHOUT snow tires on their car? Decided since I had the snow tires on that I would go Barnes/Burnside to avoid the HWY26 snarl. BAD IDEA. HGot to the top and then had to turn around and head back down. Dude, if you drive a Pontiac Grand Am and don't have snow tires, you have no right being on the road.
Almost got rear ended by a station wagon. Made sure to flip a finger as she slid passed me in the middle of the road.
