I think sound wise, it can't get any better than stock exhaust system. Infiniti just nailed it with the throaty tone and FX is being voted the best sounding stock exhaust compared to the G and Z. Just hoping that I'll get some decent performance gain to go along with Unichip.

For the wheels, haven't hear any yet. Not sure if the owner of that wheel called back. Stop by and take a look first. I think you'll like them.

Also I gotta pick up that cf plug cover!

Welcome to AZ Talk about rain, Eugene seems to trap those clouds in at the end of the valley.

Saw your comment about the Feiro project. You have guts taking on two tempermental makes of cars. Fiat was my only "in the shop every month" ride. Fun to drive, but a bitch to own.

I just bought Fram too. It was a Tough Guard model for $6. I just do conventional oil. Saw lots of good review on Chevron Supreme and since Costco carries them, I use that for the change every 3k miles.

I use to run synthetic until the wife started penny pinching :P

Do use Fram filters though and Mobile High-Mileage (good price at Freddie's) and do fine. I'm not hossing around by any means though, maybe on occasion, but not a lot. I need to change my oil, bleh!

I used to get it done at the dealer since it was only around $30, but now they are getting too expensive. Acura sent me a oil change coupon recently and its $56 even after the coupon. I said F that tossed the coupon in the garbage.

is low end torque too much for you right now? haha
don't like RBC mani because of loss in low end torque.

----------------------

One guy over at Infiniti forum with nicely modded FX35... He lives in New York where storm is hitting. His garage roof started collapsing and ended up parking the FX out in the streets. After that power line falls on top and smashed the car. 20 mintues later tree fell and smashed again. Now the interior is getting drenched with rain. Bummer...

^This...free oil changes for life at RTA. Even though RDX was purchased at Prick Hannah, and TL in Seattle, for $100 you get LOF for as long as you own the car. Don't know if that deal is still available, but it pays for itself in 4 trips.

I used to have lifetime oil change from RTA on my TL-S. I lost money on it since I traded in the car earlier than I expected. Tried to buy another one this year when I bought the TSX since this one is to stay for long time but RTA stopped offering the deal.

They must've lost some money who kept the car for more than long enough than they expected. Like my friend who owns a 2003 CL with +100k miles. He bought the lifetime oil change from RTA after purchasing the car new in 2003 and changed oil every 3000 miles.

They've stopped offering lifetime LOF as they oversold it. But I did get it with my RDX before they stopped offering it. And I made them give it to me for free. So you better believe I'm taking it in to them...lol. And yes, I take my Si, supercharger and all into the Honda dealer for oil changes. It's always fun to see their reactions.

I'm sure they more than make up for the loss with the overpriced goods and services they provide beyond the LOF. Prick Hannah offers free tires for life if you service your car at Acura of Portland. But they are WAY high. I was shocked when the guy told me he wanted $600 for the first service on the RDX. I told him I'd rather drive to Seattle for the service. When he asked why I was going so far away I said, because it would cost me less to drive all the way up there for service.

That's wack.

Tonkin throws in the inspection stuff for free when they do the oil/filter change. So I take the car in and pay nothing.

Totally out of line. We bought the RDX there becuase Tonkin laughed at us but Hannah gave us $3,300 off MSRP.

BTW what's up with all the slutty costumes? Any of your co-workers dressing up? Must be a college girl thing (unless you count the creepy guy wearing dark sunglasses in the elevator).

What, it's Holloween? Shit. I can't go home until all those little rug rats are off the streets. The temptation to save the planet by mowing down a grade school kid with my V-6 is too much to resist.

Insert inappropriate comment about hawt young girls. You'd think I'd be used to it after all these years of looking at college girls asses out of the corner of my eye.

Yep. My old lady is U of P grad. Too many bars in your neighborhood. If the fake ID does not work at one they can go down the street. -Or even better- If they get cut off at one bar they can walk down the street. Gives them time to practice saying, "I'll have a vodka cranberry" without slurring.
