I Quit
So new life for the TSX. Jay bought the TLS wheels, so the stockies are back on, they don't look bad, but it's nuts to see how far into the wells they sit. New tires, new front rotors, brake fluid flushed and refilled. Big thanks to Brandon for his help!
Next up, new rear pads and new endlinks. After that, the car should be 100% until the dreaded 100K tune-up.
Might consider new spark plugs too, what's in there is original with a lil over 80K on them...

nope, the rears are silent now. Fronts are quieting down slowly, get a lil squeak when backing up slow and on a low speed left turn. Beyond that they are pretty dang quiet now.

I'm too busy crusing the streets naked now that Jr high is back in session.
As soon as I finish these damned TPS Reports, I'm on vacation and can meet THIS weekend.

what are you looking to get done? are you wanting it a true carbon part? or overlay over existing part? FYI.. just to make the mold for parts is about 80 to 100$ for material (depending on size) then you gotta think the material needed to make the actual part after..

the problem with the overlay is its going to thicken the original part alittle so i would be worried about the tight spots its why most people that do overlay do flat panel parts or surfaces with contours that arent too tight.. overlaying a part in carbon is actually easy to do its just more time consuming.. does your intake cover look like the one in the picture?? if so can i get a pic of the flip side i am curious if its just held down by the screws.. might be better to just do the mold then i can have a few go times at it without the worry of either destroying the original or having something happen to the original

WTF?
hmm.. i was looking at how much the cover costs which is 66.28 at OEMACURAPARTS.. its half tempting to get it and make a couple full carbon ones.
would be nice to find a use one in good condition just to save cost.. I might beable to do the part for 250 275 which is better then the 300+ amount
