My buddy is off today, and I told the Service Rep that I could really care less. I just needed it to drive over the (Sylvan) hill and back. Again, this car is unnecessary and only serves to cheapen the brand IMHO. BMW is on the same route. Small and cheap. "Mr. Jones, your POS is ready. Congratulations, you leased a BMW for less than a Cadillac."

Pshhh.. ILX.. 2013 Accord > TSX or ILX

After having my first winter tires on Hyundai Accent, I'm sold on having one for winter seasons. Wanted one for the FX too, but it was too expensive to buy set of new wheels and tires and used OEM wheels for the FX was rare thing to find locally.

If pictures show no issues, its a steal at $500. Set of 18" OEM wheels alone is $400 plus shipping.

If the rubber isn't too old and still usable (seems good on pics), its a super steal @ 500. Haha.. That Pirelli Scorpion Ice&Snow tire in new is about $200 each and they have pretty good reviews.

Don't like Pirelli P6 Plus on my TSX though. Its a pure crap tire but damn expensive. Found out its a OE Replacement tire at outrageous price and nobody likes them. Tire dances on wet roads and I ended up siping the tires last Friday. Much better traction and brake feel after the siping. Hope they wear out fast so I can get new set of tires.

I have a love hate with the winters. Major PITA when it snows, Carrie doesn't know what a torque wrench is. Had them for the Accord and Speed6 too, so the RDX was a natural progression. I think the only thing me lady doesn't like about them is the price. She would rather I spent my money on redecorating the bedroom.

^Not to worry. Now that youv'e cut groves in them they will wear out twice as fast. More edge for the pavement eat away at.

I have siping done on few tires but all of them never worn out faster than normal wear rate.
Only time I worn out tires unusually fast was when I had '03 Accord Coupe years ago. I took every corners super fast making screeching sound and the tires lasted only 10k miles

Currently FX's tire is siped too. Siped them right after purchasing the car and they do not show unusual wear because of siping. Being wide and having big tread blocks (Toyo Proxes S/T), it caused FX to jump around even on small road imperfections. Calmed down the ride comfort alot after siping them.

Siping = tread squirm

The tire will handle inclimate weather better, but suffer in hard corners in the summer. If I had some extra money to blow, I'd be rollin' on some lightweight summer wheels and tires. Who knows, maybe next summer none of us will be here. God damn Mayans.

Although, if you are savvy you can save money by purchasing those light items like cabin air filters, wipers, etc. really cheap. Most of thime shipping from those East Coast guys is free.

The issue I have is with collectables, sunglasses, tools and electronics

Beer signs do OK. I've got my eye on one at a local watering hole. It's a classic Miller with an Oregon state theme. I've never seen one before, so I told the owner to put my name on it...if she dies I'll get a sign from the beer gods.

Going home early, feeling the rath from my head cold. Of course, could be alcohol withdrawal too.

This will be a perfect setup for the summer and great price too including Potenzas.
Might need to roll fenders though. Little aggressive setup. If time permits today, I wanna try test fitting them and ask if price can be little lower.

18x8.5 +30 Tires look little streched. Might be running 225 width.

Yes, I'm very interested too. But if I buy it, I think I can't wait till next year to put these on. Its better for you to snatch them up since you seemed to have more patient than me

Also debating if I should buy this one and do custom fitting on the FX. It should have better flow than the stock FX exhaust with single piping.

G37 Coupe oem. $100

my rims on now are +42 dont see why +35 with a 235 width tire would be bad?

i was gonna see if i can check them tonight after work.. if not tomorrow, but i didnt know speed concept wasnt open on saturdays.. when did that happen?? if i do get them ill want to redo them either in a glossy black or that mag blue color Volk does.. either would look good on my car IMO was almost thinking even a deep purple but i think that would be alittle ferry-ish

Its been few months since they opened weekdays only. But they don't close at 5pm anymore. They are open till 7pm and if the garage is backed up with works, they don't close till 8 or 9.

I just thought that it might rub fenders with 235 width tires with +35 offset. Maybe not. Just guessing until you buy them and put it on. Haha. And mag blue will look sick on the cgp. Purple or Pink will look good on Chris's white.

That exhaust is sold by Speed too. Once a while I type in their phone number on craigs and bunch of things are listed for sale. Might buy that exhaust for $100 do some custom bending to make it fit on the FX. It'll sure flow better than current stock exhaust without the drone I hate.

think i'm gonna stop by later afternoon. 1000 is a good deal too but i'll see if they can do little cheaper.

gonna have to order some differential fluid and coolant for the FX and might buy that G37 exhaust.

I stopped by and took a look. Tires have plenty of tread left over. Plus wheels are straight and not bent. Only thing bad will be the finish of the wheels. It shows some use with scratches, but that shouldn't be a issue if you gonna powdercoat them. Seems like a good deal.

For the price, they first listed at 1500, lowered to 1200 and down to 1000 few days ago. They are selling the wheels for someone else. Called the person who owns the wheels and left a message to call back and see if he can do lower than 1000. Have a feeling they'll go little lower than 1000 if you pay up cash.
