So I forgot - on my way back from campin - I saw the ugliest damn car I have seen in a while. It was one of those cars that someone spent way too much money on - and it's still fugly.

It was a new Chrysler 300, but it was painted with full flames from bumper to bumper. The doors had a couple of tigers "mixed" into the flames, and the trunk had 2 big green eyes on the back of the car.

It was a professional paint job - easily a 5k+ pintjob. You could tell someone took their time and it was done right. But still - If I spend 10 grand to paint a set of balls on the hood of my car - I still have balls on the hood of my car.

Some people. I tried to find a picture, thought he might have posted pics somewhere, but google isn't claiming him...lol

Chryslers 300's are for little men with low self esteem, this guy has some issues.

Well the damage on my car from the hail was $3,000.00, should be fixed by monday. Didn't make a dime off the insurance company (except I don't have to pay the $100.00 deductible) but at least it'll be back to new.

If you know anyone looking for a 06 TL with Navi let me know lol.

How much damage were we talking here? I wouldn't think it would be too tough to get 3k in damage from hail. I guess though, you figure $100 per dent to fill paintless.

Kind of ironic actually. Last week - my basement floods. Well, we park my wifes SUV out in the driveway so we can start hauling stuff out of the basement and get it dried off or throw it away.

Well wouldn't ya know - the following week a tornado touches down in Coon Rapids a few blocks away from my house and we get large hail (from what I heard) - now the wife's grand vitara is all beat to hell since it was outside in the driveway instead of in the garage.

Not to mention - 91 blazer thats for sale, not a dent. Heck - maybe it knocked some of the rust off or something. Almost seems to look better now.

Dang it. I missed out on the S/C again. I was asking some questions about it, and some kids dibs'ed it. Well, the seller told me he wasn't gonna sell it to him, but he ended up selling it locally. I was basically just waiting for him to give me his paypal info.

Oh well.

Good news though - I talked the wife into letting me buy an '02 dodge ram that I've been looking at. It's one of those quad cabs I think it's called? (with the 4 doors, not the extended cab) Hopefully I can goto the dealership sometime in the beginning of next week. We are just kind of waiting on the insurance from her vehicle because I think she is going to buy something too. More leverage if I goto the dealership and say I want to buy 2 cars

Where's everyone been hiding? I'm gonna have the mods change this thread to Glow's blog if people don't start chiming up soon.

Hey - anyone have any ideas when the next meet should be? Anyone have any projects they need done, or should we do another grill'n in the park type thing?

Glow, the hood, roof and trunk had the most damage, probably about 200 small dents all together there. The side fenders, and back fenders had about 5 each so that's not bad. The pillers had one or two and the rails on top and side moldings on the door need to be replaced. It's not huge hail damage but its obvious it's there.

Have you called up your insurance guy for an appraisel on your rides? How much did you have?

It's on a suzuki grand vitara - so there is no trunk. Otherwise it's on the hood, fenders, and a couple on the passanger side doors (from the bouncing hail off the retaining wall)

Mine was in the garage

Called on Tuesday, but American Family hasn't gotten back to me yet. They say it could be another week since this isn't a regular claim out of the blue - they consider it a catastrophe due to the number of claims that came in.

Man - that sucks. We were (well, I was) just getting to know you. Unfortunately I am getting up at 6am and leaving for Hinckley for a bacholor party - so I can't make it.

I'm down for Sunday though. Sounds like it might be raining most of the weekend, but maybe we can use B-dubs or Josh's vortex?

BTW - I bought the truck tonight. It's a beast - gonna take some getting used to. It's bigger than my expedition was. Nice sound system though (hate to say it, but I think it's better than the TL. It's got an Infinity system that shakes the mirrors so bad I can't use them.

OK - back to the issue at hand here. You gonna still keep in touch on AZ right? We can consider it one of our guys representing elsewhere, rather than being a man down.

Sorry to hear that your leaving bro, I'm gonna be in Eau Claire Saturday night for some hard core drinking, what time on Sunday would this BBQ going on? On second thought I might not feel comfortable showing up: I'd be rolling in a 2007 Chevy Impala 53K on it and it drives worse then an Acura with 300K. I hit up Benihana's last night and had to hide my face from everyone. Yeah I know, shallow LOL. You still gonna stick with the post after you move?

Sunday is Grand Old Day bitches!! No BBQ, just a bunch of people eating and drinking on Grand Ave in St Paul. Oh, yeah, and the best damn corn on the cob that I have ever had. They cook it up, pull back the husk and dip it in a vat of butter then roll it in spices and Parmesan cheese. My mouth is watering just thinking about it...

Damn Foo!! You got quite the drive ahead of you! Keep it down in Ohio and Pennsylvania, the cops are always sitting at the construction sites and they get you with the 'double fines in workzones' crap, even if you roll through at 3AM.
