There are actually a few bad experiences that guys on the forums have had with baking their headlights.....I've seen a few ugly pics where the clear front cover basically becomes frosted looking (and it ain't pretty!).

my box shook apart, so i had to buy a new box.. then i saw that rockford fosgates were 2 for 1 at ultimate, so i picked up some p1's.. this was all my money though, so i couldn't have them install the shit.. is it easy to do my self? the amp power cords and everything are all ready set up, just need to attach the amp to the box, and put the subs in the box.. then hook the amp up to all the power and signal wires

Yes, this is easy.

Had a BBQ yesterday 'cause the 'rents were in town, then went out today and bought a bunch of new lights and furniture. I guess we need to have another party!

ended up going to best buy.. they did it so much better then circuit city did, if they were still in buisness i'd yell at them.. but it's very professional looking now, and worth the money spent..

Which Best Buy did you go to?

I think having a party at Josh's is a good idea so we can check out his new lights and furniture

the one in woodbury..
circuit city screw the amp in sideways in the middle of my trunk, didn't give it enough wire to do anything, and were just chincey and lame..
best buy did what i asked, putting the amp on top or behind the box, they choose on top, theyy also secured all the wires together, not just let them hang out all over the place. it looks and sounds so much better then my old set up too... and i already got the cops called on me for it. i got off work and was showing it to my mom, and someone called it in i guess

It's technically located in Oakdale now, not Woodbury haha That's the store I work at. Who installed your set-up (Scott, John or Chris)?

About the oven and headlights. I did that to my Camaro to black the headlights out. 20-25 min at 220 did the trick.

Wow, people must really be bored to go and call the cops on someone for something like that.

What the heck happens when the cop comes anyways? They just tell you to turn it down or what?

Did anyone go to the Minnesota Sport Compacts (MNSC) Spring Opener yesterday? I forgot all about it 'til now. I bet there wasn't a good turnout because it was rainy and cloudy the entire day.

Anybody been following the turbo'd TL thread?! I was just catching up on it and it looks like there are 2 now (well one blew the tranny, so I guess one).

There is one that put down 343 whp and 333 ft-lbs at 6 psi and the other (the blown tranny one) put down 426 whp and 390 ft-lbs at 10 psi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The thread is absolutely ridiculous to read, but simply amazing results!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They want to make it a kit and sell it.......so I'm thinking an order for my supercharger might be on hold for a couple months

they might be able to give you a noise ordinance..
but the cop came up my street just after i turned it off.. so he rolled up real slow in front of my house, i was stepping out of my car, we made a real awkward eye contact, and then he kept going.

Nope....that's definitely not me. I'm usually either in Minneapolis (work) or somewhere in Woodbury (live there). Plus, I don't have the spoiler, I only have the lip on the rear deck.

I did see Slepybear last night on my way home from work.....pretty sure he looked right at me (intersection of Radio and Pioneer about 10 to 6 last night.....Slepy?)

Hey guys, I need help planning my exhaust system set-up. Here's the URL to my thread I started for it: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...4#post10974974

Read the thread and let me know what you guys think is the best set-up to go with that will produce good sound and power. Thanks!

Unless you are putting on headers and a test pipe, don't expect much in the way of performance from the exhaust on your car. Think of it as an expensive noise maker.

I do plan to put on headers. I've heard that a straight pipe is better performance wise than a test pipe. What would you recommend?

A test pipe is just a piece of pipe instead of a cat, which is what I am assuming you are referring to as a 'straight pipe', so if my assumptions are correct, you can get either.
