He was probably just a dick....or a lame. Either way that's sad.

You talked to Mr. Tony Begay? He's a reasonably cool guy from the time that I have spent with him. If you see him again, ask for my CDs back. I left a few in the dash when I grabbed my stuff.

Just dropped the bird in the oven after having injected it with garlic and rosemary infused butter and then stuffing it with carrots, celery, chives, rosemary, oregano, green onions, an apple and the remainder of the butter-garlic-rosemary. Man, it just sounds incredible...

Now all you have to do is sign up for Skype and you'll have yourself a phone. Well, that and you'll have to buy the microphone add-on so that people can hear you too.

Anyone got any good plans for today? Jermaine? Jorge? Adam?

Yeah, you can use me as a reference at Target, but I doubt that I will have any pull at all in the stores. You might as well use Jermaine or Jorge for the amount of pull I have.

I seriously doubt that the people in the stores would understand if I went in there and tried to explain what it is that I do for them.

Hey Josh, no real plans...just throwing stuff away. And waiting to leave.

Side Note - I had no idea it was such a PITA to get a FBI self background check

Well, if you feel like it, I am just hanging out at home today. Our friend down the hall wants us to come over for the Ducks football game at 6, and we may/may not go over there.

Let me know if you feel like coming over. I just finished giving the grill a good cleaning so no more fires! I cooked up a couple of burgers to verify that it wasn't going to spontaneously ignite or anything.

Just get the wiring adapter and wire it up and then plug it in to the dash, you'll only be out about $30 bucks more than you are already and you'll be 85% of the way to the complete install.

Sleep do you already have the DIN kit for your dash? If not, i would suggest Circuit City or some other spot. I just dont see the point in paying shops to do work that you can do on your own.

Metra Electronics Corp. - 70-1721

Search BestBuy, CC, etc. They may even be at some of your local spots.

So i talked with the guy who makes kits on here and he said 2 things.
1. Because of this style of screen, it will cost me about 200 to make a custom double din kit
2. Wiring Harness is $115

Maybe you can modify one the kits that are already available? As for the harness, you might want to check eBay.

Seriously, where did you get that price from for the harness? That is out of control high. Are they making them out of gold for that price?

Are we talking about a single DIN slide out screen, or a double DIN always visible screen? I would recommend looking at a standard DIN kit and seeing how you could modify it. Looking at car MP3.com gave me some great ideas as to the things that could be done with a less than optimal dash kit to make it look perfect.

Yeah, the guy is crazy overcharging the harness, i'm finding them on ebay for $4.
this is a almost double-din sized screen, which is why i need a custom kit, and i'm gunna check out that site now

Hell, you got fired, you can collect unemployment. The morons at your company should know this, since they have to pay for it. I would have to call the local office to see though, and I would characterize your trip as a planned vacation instead of moving.

So, what happened? You told them that you were leaving at the end of the week and they told you to get lost as of right now?

That's usually how it works for security reasons. They don't want/need someone around if they know they aren't going to be there after a certain date.

Eliminates the lack of performance/motivation, and minimizes any security risks or theft since the person knows they are leaving anyways.

Target has the same policy - if you interview for a spot and don't get it, you are generally asked to leave immediately following the interview follow-up. That's what happened to me, and it only took about 15 minutes after they told me I didn't get the position.

It sucks for us, but in all reality, it's a smart business move. Also since he turned in a resignation, I think that disqualifies him for unemployment. His company essentially "waived" their right for a 2 week notice.

Interview I can understand, but he wasn't interviewing, he actually worked there. I pretty much always leave right after the interview anyway.

I also know that Target will sometimes take the option of paying you the two weeks and telling you to hit the bricks instead of working. This usually happens where there is a relatively easy transition with or without your knowledge available.

I know that when Dan left Target, he got a free 2 weeks of vacation because the position he was in had people ready to backfill, and the potential impact that a disgruntled employee could have was HUGE.

Well like i said i put in the two weeks notice almost two weeks ago, on last friday i called in because i was feeling like this. My AVP called me attempting to insinuate that i lying. During the conversation he asked if was coming in on monday(today) and i said yes. On late friday all of my access was disabled and my work was turned off(lol). I sent him an email thinking something was actually wrong with my access, but the asshole never responded. Then he calls HR telling them that i said i was not coming in again. The bitch lied to cover his ass and he KNOWS I wasnt going to take it laying down. Couldnt even tell me like a man.

...shit they are still paranoid i'm going to do something stupid lol

That's what I meant. I actually worked at Target for a little over a year, and I interviewed for another internal position and was denied for an unknown reason. Then a few minutes later, I was asked to grab my stuff and leave. They say the reason is that the position I interviewed for was a direct path for my current position, and since I did not receive the position, it wasn't in their best interest to keep me at bay. I never did find out why I wasn't promoted (even though I already had been doing the job, along with training others how to do the job - yet I wasn't capable of doing it with a title?) It was part of the helpdesk in case you're wondering.
