I dont think this is a good place to meet especially on saturdays. The last time I was there the cops shut down all the entrances into the parking lot since there were no parking spots left. I ended up parking at the old Met Center/Ikea lot.

Yeah thats where we runs our meets. Please be considerate and dont rev and trash the parking lot. We've used that lot for 4+ years and we have never gotten hassled by local businesses or police.

Hey guys, once again sorry for my spottiness on the boards..

Meet is still on saturday, although it is looking like it's going to rain, and if that's the case, I'm not opposed to postponing the meet to some other date and time..

If we decide to hold it still it will definitely put a damper on the showing off aspect of the meet, and probably the cruise too, but if it's what everyone wants I'm of course down for that.

If it is raining we could just have a meet at the Bdubs, probably west saint paul but it doesn't really matter, and plan on making another meet later this spring/summer

Everyone should put some input on this so we can decide what to do before Saturday...

 

I agree michael. This is mike. I say we take a vote on where we meet. Cause to me the consesis is not all wanna be in the rain. I vote moa ramp same time. Plus many places to eat.

 

I dont know where we should all meet but i do know that i do NOT want to go to the Mall on a Saturday or any other day... I HATE MOA!!!!!

 

If this is going to be a get together to make a tentative date for another meet I'll probably stay home. Can't waste gas for an hour or two of a get together lol.

 

For sure. We either need to come up with a solid plan, or we just need to have it another weekend. How about this... I will be at BW3's at 1pm on Saturday for sure.

If we come up with a suitable plan beforehand, I will meet up for a little show'n'tell beforehand. But as of now, I'm just planning on heading straight for some wings. If anyone else is feeling the same sentiment as me, then go ahead and just plan on being there at 1 with me, and we will see who all shows up. I'll be the fat kid drinking beer and eating wings... wait... that probably doesn't help much. lol Just walk in, walk around with a blank stare and I'll spot ya.

 

Tht was my TL last year at the beginingof summer. It was totaled in a accident. I now have a 6 speed NBP 07 type-S so I an starting all over. Are you coming to our meet this Saturday?

 

Hey every one. Lets see what the weatherman says I been hearing no rain until Saturday night. I say we still shoot for the meet at Como. I am going to see every ones car and talk ideas and mods. The food can come later GLOW!!!!. The meet was set up for 12:00 that would be still the time. If it rains and since MOA is not to everyones liking, then we can go to the other parking lot that was mention in the previous page. Then go to BW's and satisfy our appetite.

 

That sounds good to me. Meet up. Chit chat with each other. Maybe do the cruise and whatever else before we eat. Or we could cruise ear cruise and whatever else. Just need to beat the rain if it isn't supposed to till that night.

Yes - Como Park at noon. It's been a few years since I've been there, so I can't exactly say "where". I'd say park like you're going to enter the zoo, but stay back as far as possible, to a point that your recognizable as not going to the zoo. lol

Yes G there is parking by the zoo, or the conservatory. We can get each others numbers and stay in touch. Glow did you change your number I call and it said is disconnected?

 

I will be at como at noon. My car is daily driven so i'm going rain or shine. There is a overflow parking lot away from the zoo that would be a better lot for us to meet at. If you need directions i found it on google maps using address... 1162 Midway Parkway, Saint Paul, MN. Also we should set a time around 2:00 for BW's so if it's raining to hard for some people we can just meet up there.

BTW - in case anyone wonders... as a general rule, you don't want to post your number directly on forums (same as e-mail) as there are spamming robots that will read forums for numbers and e-mail. If you spell out one of the numbers, or add spaces between that should keep you from being added to lists. That's also how people post links to sites that are "banned" from particular forums.

If you plan on being there (Como) anytime after 1pm, you may want to give another member a call and make sure we havent left for BW3's. Otherwise just plan on meeting us at BW3's anytime starting about 2. I'd say we would be there until 4 or so, so again - if you're planning on coming to BW3's after 4pm, I'd call as well.

** If it's pouring ass rain, I will still goto Como, but we might only wait around 10-15 minutes (like if it's raining so hard we can't get out of our cars). So... pouring ass rain, maybe just plan on BW3's unless you want to roll around in the rain by group. lol

 

Guys I have some bad news, yesterday I took my car into a shop to get a header gasket that was torn replaced, but unfortunately when they took a closer look at it they found out that the entire header was cracked, and unable to be welded back together...

So, I have no car right now, and need to find a new set of headers to replace the set that is currently on.. I don't know if I'll be able to make it to the meet tomorrow as I won't have any car, but I'll see what I can do

I also have some unfortunate news... White Heat is still hibernating since there is still snow on the ground and the city has not cleaned the streets yet. Last year, I was able to awaken the beast mid-March. This year, I am not as lucky Depending on how supervising the ACTs go tomorrow morning, I might still roll out to BWW in my Jeep and join you guys for awhile. My Jeep isn't stock, so I would still have something to show-off

Well it was great to see the old group, and also having new people in our ever groin clan. For those of you that do not know. The meet just officially ended at 11:30 PM at my house. The four of us that were left installed my Greddy EVO II on my car followed by dinner. Boy does that exhaust sound sweet. By the way it is just starting to rain. It was a great meet hopefully we could do one next moth. Those who took photos please post them. I personally thank the "G" group for making a special appearance at our meet and including us in the background of their photo shoot. Great time guys, hey did anyone see Razzi
