Not like Jermaine.... who just quits showing up for his job

So when is the date you're actually gone with the wind? If it's not too late, maybe some of us should meet up at the mall and send you off with a buzz?

ok, so i just thought about this, but the screen came with the male pluggins already in the back of the system, all the wires are just clipped and cut, could i just use these or do i need a new male pluggin? i know it didn't come off a acura or honda though

You can use those wires, but you will still want to buy the acura male.

Basically look at the wired mess your new stereo is. In order to hook it up that way, you would need to cut off the wiring harness of your car, so now you would have 2 messes. It would be fine this one time for hooking up the stereo, but the next time is certainly trouble.

So what you do is buy the plug that goes into your factory harness, and there are just wires on the other end. This way, you can "unplug" your new stereo and go back to stock someday.

The dude that wanted $140 for the harness is basically just putting one together for you. I could teach you how to make one and it would only cost you the $20 for the OEM harness and some electrical tape (which I have).

Picture this setup:

Stereo <------- wires wrapped and taped to wires -------> Car harness

You can now unplug the wires from the car if needed. Otherwise you end up taping the stereo into the car, and then you have to re-cut the wires to get it back out (theres the problem, because then your left with 2 inch wires in your dash and that's not cool for hooking up a radio)

Here is what you would need. This link is for circuit city, just because I couldn't find anything on Best buys website (but I'm positive they have one in the store too).

This is technically the wrong part, but you just cut an end off and now it is the right part (this is some funky 2 piece harness... we just need the one piece).

Click here to check out the harness

So I can't remember what you were doing with your car? And what are your plans for Saturday then? You think you'll have some free time to meet up for some lunch at the mall, or are you gonna be pretty busy wrapping up all of the loose ends before you go?

Let me know - I've made arrangements with the wife to "go shopping" at the mall this weekend, so we'll be there.

Damn 5 minute edit rules.

I found the other part of the harness. It looks like the one above goes from car to Metra harness. There is another piece that goes from Metra harness to Pioneer (or whatever brand you want installed). Basically instead of taping the two harness together, they have a harness for each brand radio. Personally, taping isn't the end of the world though.

Here is the link for the Metra to Radio harness

Wow Glow, I don't know what to tell you, that's about the weirdest thing I have ever heard of. I know a few people that have interviewed for promotions and not been let go when they didn't get it, but that doesn't mean it is out of the realm of possibility.

If we're going to get together with Jermaine this weekend before he leaves someone's gotta pick me up, I can't be left out of this party.

DUDE!! Seriously, clean your friggin room!

Judging by those photos, the guy you got it from had purchased a model-specific adapter and wired it up to the head unit wiring harness. You still need the Acura TL wiring harness part to attach that one to.

Josh I can probably get you and meet up this weekend too. I might go snowboarding one day, but I can always do it the day we dont meet. I might not even go if I'm still sore from surfing.

Don't even talk to me about being sore from surfing, I don't want to hear it.

Hey Razzi, how's that P90X workout treating you? Seen any results yet?

I can tell someone is starting to geek on his move to AUS.

Don't forget, if you want to kick it this week/weekend, let me know. I still don't have a vehicular, but I can take the train and bus like nobody's business!

Jorge, I just checked, and if I wanted to cruise on out to your place it would take me two and a half hours!! That's right, you heard me, 2.5 hours!

Let me just take a moment to say that you can cruise on over here to hang out...

heh, told ya i was gonna be a bit busy with life. my older bro just came up from cali for a week, i havent seen him in several years so it's pretty cool.

finals week is fast approaching, in fact my calc 4 final is next friday. so a good chunk of my time is devoted to line integrals and other useless tidbits.

my cousin also bought rock band over black friday so between P90X and math i'm slamming high hats and snares queens of the stone age and the who

and speakin of P90X, it's working real well, i can actually see pec-age where before was a nipple and some skin. it's funny but the amount of self confidence you get from putting on some muscle mass is astonishing. i feel like i can tango with anne hathaway...not really, but sabrina isn't so far away now

i probably wont be available for pretty much until christmas and even then i'm reluctant to go cause of the sorry shape my baby's in.

so i suppose that's my current status.

and one last thing; ex-TCA members

Ry4an
Hasham
Dan
buncha dudes i never learned the name of but did drop by at once point
and soon jermaine. i'm gettin kinda sad

+2, don't let Jorge hear you say that! Good to hear that you are getting some results, if you ever want to stop in and talk about the program or anything else, let me know. I was able to actually do 4 pull-ups the other day, which is pretty impressive for me since three weeks ago I was not able to even hang from the bar without excruciating pain from my shoulder. Also, I am wearing a suit today that I have not been able to wear for a YEAR!

So I guess that means that you are not going to be making it to any weekend see-Jermaine-off events?

Speaking of which, what's going on with that? We meeting up or what?

Shit Josh 4 pull-ups is good! I'm smaller than you and probably could only do 5 or so... and I don't have any shoulder surgery to use in my defense either!

Cadet challenge? Are you in a military school or something?

Besides, you weigh 9 pounds, if I weighed 9 pounds I could probably do 100.

i made some sarcastic comments to my mom, and before i knew it she took away texting to get even with me...
she said she would ground me even more if she saw me in front of a tv the rest of the week because of my grades only slowly going up..
i asked if i would get grounded for walking in a room with a tv then, because technically i'd be in front of it..

yelling yelling yelling...
no texting!

thats more or less what happened

Hey man, my goal was to go to Annapolis and become a pilot, then I got glasses my sophomore year of HS and knew the plan was screwed. It's funny, if you look at my transcripts from HS you can actually tell which semester I got glasses because my grades dropped. What branch is your school associated with?

By the way, I can speak from experience, while sarcasm is really damn funny, parents don't get it, much less like it.

well i come from possibly the most sarcastic family ever.. we (everyone, cousins, gramps, uncles and aunts) meet pretty much every sunday, and have dinner etc, and i'm just blown away by how sarcastic one family can be.

we are just a JROTC, so we are "closest" to the army i guess.. and i'm not against the military at all, but my school makes it such a joke. like i've been here since 7th grade, military starts 9th grade, and I am currently a sergeant element in my squad.. then there are kids who came here either last year or even this year and are already staff sgt's and squad leaders or more. so it's hard to be serious when receiving a rank actually means nothing. but because its so lame i don't do great, my grade usually goes up and down quarter to quarter.. last year i had a d- 3rd quarter and like 110% 4th.. demerits are lame and fuck me over a lot too...

so thats my little rant on why i don't care for the military at my school
