Thanks, I got home yesterday and the car was coated in dust. Enough that I could actually blow the dust off of it like you see people do in movies. Ick.

Man do I want to go back to Hawai'i. Reality sucks.

So I cheated a little and took my baby out for a drive. Just took it for about a mile - didn't want to go anywhere i would get wet or sprayed. It was fun - can't wait

Terms of Use UpdateClose
Over the past few days, we have received a lot of feedback about the new terms we posted two weeks ago. Because of this response, we have decided to return to our previous Terms of Use while we resolve the issues that people have raised.

If you want to share your thoughts on this, check out our group Facebook Bill of Rights and Responsibilities.

It's good that people are finally reading stuff like this. The terms of use as they were allowed Facebook to take rights to anything you posted, for as long as they wanted. Imagine if someone else wanted to do that, how people would respond.

Say Acurazine changed their terms of service to say that anything you put on here could be used for advertising and you couldn't do anything about it. You took this kick-ass picture of your car, the folks at A-zine saw it and decided, "hey, that's a cool shot, let's put that in our next advertisement" and then did so. You see the photo, recognize it as your own and say, "hey, they are using my photo without my permission, I should be getting compensated for that, it was my work!" Too damn bad, it's theirs since you posted it here. You think anyone would want to post up pictures if something like that happened? And what kind of community would we have if that were the case?

I don't know, if they decide to make their terms a little more open, I might join in. I logged on to my wife's page and was stunned to see how many people are on there. I knew it was a lot, but I was not expecting the number of people I saw on there.

It is really nice to keep in touch with people from my highschool. Because I wouldn't normally call them or text them but when they're on facebook I'll chat with them.

Ok, that just might keep me from joining. I am not interested in hearing from 90% of the people I went to HS WITH.

Nah, all of my friends in HS were upper-classmen, when they graduated I didn't really have anyone to hang out with any longer. The people I graduated with were not really friends of mine.

Case in point, anyone remember Ry4an? He and I went to HS together, same class, I never met him before we met up at BW3s. It had nothing to do with what crowd we rolled in, because I knew most of his friends from my classes.

I agree with Josh having graduated 10 years ago this year I look back and ask myself what was I thinking spending all that time, energy and money trying to fit in, be popular and impress these people. Since I graduated I have seen maybe ten people I went to high school with accidentally the mall or some store. And each time the conversation was the same hi, how are things, what are you doing now and goodbye.

Yeah, there's only so much to talk about when the only thing you have in common is that 10 years ago you both liked to oggle Betty's boobies.

Once you get a bit away from HS and even college, your connection to people that are not friends becomes a lot thinner and it becomes harder and harder to be interested in keeping in touch with someone that you only ever had minimal contact with in the first place. You will keep in touch with more people from college than HS, but the number will still not be that high, especially if you decide to move around the country (world) in order to further your career.

Check out mnautox.com and you can find out all about the races of the season. You'll have to sign up for a permanent number ($1) or get a number the day of the race for free, but you have to make number plates that are actually visible on your car, so you are better off if you get a permanent number. Magnetic vinyl sheets are only like $20 for a 3 foot x 2 foot section, and you can use balck vinyl stickers over that for your numbers. There is also a guy in the club that makes numbers for pretty cheap, but they are kind of ugly. Most races are something like $25-$40 each depending on the location, but they sell out fast once they open up 30 days prior to the event, usually within a few hours.

I've been trying to get some of the people on here to show up, but everyone seems to bitch out on the day of.

There is also a novice school at the end of April that is classroom on Saturday and track instruction on Sunday. It is really helpful for learning the ropes.

Memorial Day is too much of a family event for some people. We'll have to do something on another day.

When did you get tints? What percent you get?

Going to assume 35%. It was what he was talking about.

As part of my government portfolio, we had to write a letter to a govt official and actually send it. Mine was on how our tint limits need to be 35%. Gave some facts ect. Wrote it to Tim Pawlenty.

You should have directed it at one of the state senators, they might have been able to do something about it, but the police lobby is pretty strong and I doubt anything is going to change.

I did 20% in the rear and 35% on the fronts. Just got it washed tonight, but we lost our camera in Hawaii, so I can't take any pictures. I guess you guys will have to wait until the next meet.

I'd consider getting a different intake, like a short ram. That is really not good if your car is sucking up water...

i thought short ram were bad cuz they take super hot air from engine bay, instead of from underneath.. so they are pretty much for sound.. and yeah, i need to be careful, but i can't wait for the next day to be high enough temps to wash n wax, im excited for it

From the Star Trib

The accident occurred at around 12:50 a.m. when a 1991 Acura driving very fast on the southbound Interstate Hwy. 35W ramp to westbound Interstate Hwy. 94 hit a 2004 Ford F650 coming from the Third Street ramp, the State Patrol says

Wonder if it's anyone we've seen around

If you get a good intake you should not have to worry about it ingesting a ton of water unless you drive through a river. The CompTech that I installed on my TL had a big opening behind the fog light and I never had an issue with water getting in there, even when I drove through HUGE puddles on my way through Iowa.

What intake are you running? And why do you say your car starts to hydrolock? What are the signs?
