Yea, I never understood people who sign up for the forums and then maybe post once every month. Or the person that's active and then randomly leaves, lol...I guess people are busy or don't place emphasis on being active like us. I dunno, I find forums kind of fun...way better than facebook posting. Lol, speaking of facebook, I never understood people who post their opinions on the huge threads with alike 1000 shares on it. There are people who's names are literally attached to some rather polarizing opinions. If I was in HR I would totally be on Facebook and Youtube and not hire people who act a fool on those mediums, lol.
As a side note, most HR people do watch employees on facebook. Just remember that you don't have privacy when you are working on a work computer.

So thought I would share, I got my Tablet installed in my car. I ordered a bluetooth OBD2 reader and purchased Torque so I will have all the gauges I want without modifying the dash.
Also I must say, the Tablet was installed just infront of the arm rest and runs to the AUX port in the arm rest. I'm going to say that I am 99.8% sure that port bypasses the factory headunit's EQ settings because my stereo sounds amazing off the tablet. The sub in the trunk plays a full range of sound for a sub, not just a partial 30-42hz range.
Anyway... happy friday. I'm at 63 hours for the week when I punched in this morning... but i'm not salary

Unless you drive in 1 foot deep puddles, you're fine...I've driven in the biggest rainstorms and there are countless people on the forums who have cold air intakes that haven't hydrolocked. It's only the 4 or 5 outliers that have had hydrolocking that have created the hype. Our ILX is very well blocked from rain: the fog light housing, the fender well, and the cover underneath the engine block any water from coming in. There is the intake vent near the foglight, but that doesn't point to where the filter would be.
If you order the AEM, I will order the K&N.
You first though, haha...
I post all kinds of ridiculous crap on Facebook.. y'all would hate me haha.. I make it private though and I do more trolling than anything.

I'm at work and cant snag a picture, but this picture is what motivated me to do the whole thing. The car is an ILX, the tablet is a Google Nexus 7. I put mine in the cup holder closest to the arm rest as well so its not close to the shifter at all.
I should say to, I have an automatic 2.0L premium so I don't have to fight a manual transmission.
The other option for mounting is up on the dash using a CD-Slot mount, but I didn't know how secure that would hold. It's a mount that locks into the cd-drive and can hold up to a 10" tablet

I wonder if the nexus 7 would be any good.
#902
That's what I have in mine. Quad Core Processor, 32gb of memory for music and apps. Tether wifi off my phone for GPS and internet when needed.
Looks good (like a giant ipod) and is quick to remove from the car.

Ipad user's typically use OBDLink for software. It works just the same... but looks freaking hidious hahaha.
You can actually also use DashCommand.

So.. At the Acura dealer getting my Paint Butler application, oil change and tire rotation.. The RLX has grown a great deal on me and I really respect Acura for not trying to copy Audi on the headlights like everyone (even Honda) else.. The ILX body kit/spoiler is a must...

I'm hoping to grab at least the spoiler next month..So if yall have a white ILX, you'll be able to see the spoiler without the whole body kit.
BTW. How bout dem lakers. Keepin it tight at #8

Possibly moving closer to jumping on an ILX.
Wife hit her goals & is qualified for a big bonus. Should help us get a few things paid off & get us closer to a new car.
