You are misinformed if you don't think you "won't have a problem" long-term from caffeine.

I can go on and on about it. I'm very knowledgeable in natural health.....

I'll just say that caffeine wrecks havoc on the adrenal gland...which eventually results into chronic fatigue along with numerous of other health problems.

I can't say that I haven't felt the detriment. Thanks for the heads up. Ugh, I need to stop the coffee.

It was either that, or saying "I can quit any time I want. I just don't want too"

Caffeine is a drug. Within moderation, it has its uses (especially when pulling a night shift). Studies also have shown a correlation between caffeine intake, and a reduction of the risk of cancer and diabetes.

But you can also become dependent on it. It affects sleeping habits, causes dehydration, and gives you the shakes. Moderation is the key.

THIS

it also shows that it does indeed improve focus and awareness in moderation.. it's a critical part of athletic diets actually.. caffeine can help you get a slight edge. I completely agree it's a drug though.. I went through a phase from 16-19 where I thought energy drinks were the bomb (they became all the rage when I was that age) so I drank so many of them daily.. problem is I was still eating and drinking healthy otheriwse.. Long story short, I ended up with 6 kidney stones in one kidney alone.. after that I went 2 months with drinking clear fluids and juices.. never felt better in my entire life..

It's true that your body craves it.. the headaches and restlessness were enough to rip my hair out.

As much as I am a fan at times, kidney stones are completely not worth it. But the best way to not be dependent on coffee is to get enough sleep.

Been seeing a lot of ILX's lately. I saw two white ones in stony point, ny yesterday. 1 had tints so I naturally parked next to him/her. And the other was driving around, I wanted to follow to see who was driving, lol...but the gf said no, haha

ANYTHING to avoid kidney stones.. I literally thought I was dying the first time it happened. I thought my insides had burst.

Trolling around stalking ILXs LOL! Yeah though.. I see more and more, especially in my area. There is a white one like 2 blocks over from me. And there is a silver 6-speed that parks in my work parking lot.

They may try to steal some of your parts lol...I feel like the ilx 6-speed is taking away a lot of would be civic si owners. I don't think the Si is going to do that well with this generation. You've got stiff competition from VW and Ford

Lol, it's Texas.. don't let them get caught plucking pieces of my car.. a .45 hurts a bit I imagine.

Bang for buck the GTI is the car to mod. But maintenance on a German car isn't my favorite part, lol.. The new Focus ST is a beast! But, I still don't like hatches.. doesn't matter how awesome of a car it is. I don't like the Civic Si even after the refresh.. it's still just what it is to me. The interior is not all the hype to me.

I think the GTI is overpriced when you option it out...it's more expensive than the ilx and comes with less features...funny how nobody complains about the price of that car.

I couldn't buy a VW. I don't even know how much GTIs cost honestly.. I just know they react to mods really well. All VW are ugly on the inside to me.. I can't buy a car that doesn't have a nice cabin being older now and realizing that's where I will spend all my time.

I don't mind their cabin...I think it's better equipped from a materials standpoint than the other cars in its class.

The original 151 are all I know.. I never really saw any past that. But the games themselves were just a nice balance of puzzles and rewards.

From what I understand though the more recent games are just as good as ever. I just dont game often anymore.

I bought the silver/gold version when it came out. They added 9000 new pokemon and night and day and I was like fuck this game. As far as I'm concerned the original 151 are the only real ones.

I was so into everything pokemon. So much money spent on cards...

Yeah.. I used to live and breathe games.. more recently it's nearly impossible for me to spend more than an hour on one.

yea, minus the cost of the car. The car you were going to by anyway in order to commute. Modifying it is the hobby.

Probably just talking about cost of mods (since we all pretty much need a car to get us places). Serious road bikers can spend like 10k on bike+stuff. Two of my uncles are into biking and building them and have a couple different ones and a lot of add ons. I'm sure they have spent what I have on my car so far.

I got one of their old bikes with stuff added on for super cheap
