haha. I took a long nap while I waited for the updates. Woke up to discover the update had completed which was surprising to me. I was expecting it to fail or something. Watched the BMW vision GT video and decided to purchase the car. I thought it was free for some reason but that definitely wasn't the case lol.

All of the VGT cars can be obtained for free initially by beating the seasonal event they're featured in.
Congrats, I also have a 6 week old baby girl, today is really the first time I fired up GT6 in two months.
The new event is fun, I golded the Fiat/VW events, but had a very hard time with the GTO, only managed to get silver.
Is anyone else having the same problem?
Fiat & VW were easier than I expected, haven't tried the GTO yet.
Not a huge fan of the Panorama course either, at least with how the FT1 VGT was setup.

I spent another hour into the GTO event and finally golded it(got the perfect bonus as well). Had to drive with caution at all time, I found out speed really isn't an issue in this event, if you manage to avoid all cars and get the perfect score, you should be able to gold it.
I didn't have the GTO in my game, so the free GTO gift(with mods) is really nice.
Got it & silver on the new Sierra TT.
Otherwise, not many changes. Bummed the BMW wasn't a prize car.
The GTR sierra event isn't too bad, I found it easier than the 3rd event(GTO), but still took me a few tries to gold it. A free Nismo GTR prize car is also nice.

I only ran through it once. It got easier the further I got. I had a few collisions early on that killed the multiplier.
mazda_lm55_vision_gt_14.A fusion of speed and elegance, aimed at an overall victory at the Le Mans 24hrs.
mazda_lm55_vision_gt_14.The Vision Gran Turismo project is the setting for the world's best automakers to develop concept cars for motorsports fanatics. The Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo pushes the boundaries at the intersection of technology and design.
This is not your traditional Mazda but a vision of the future with a healthy dose of respect for the past. It's the product of setting your sights on outright victory at the world's most demanding endurance race, the famed 24 Heures du Mans. For the design of the Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo, the Mazda Design team blended agility with elegance. Its dynamic silhouette is drawn with sensual forms inspired by Mazda's Kodo design philosophy. Even the shape of the front grille is an interpretation of the Mazda signature front end developed for its production vehicles.
The stance of the Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo, reminiscent of the famed 787 B that took overall victory at the 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans, is powerful yet graceful. The Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo barely tips the scale with lightweight, carbon fibre components, including a monocoque chassis clad in striking atmospheric-white paint. Pair this with advanced drive train technology that offers the epitome of power, efficiency and durability and the result is an exceptional power to weight ratio exceeding that of most cars in its class.
The multilink pushrod independent suspension, with front and rear adjustable dampers, reflects a long-standing racing tradition at Mazda. The viscous coupling centre diff with electro-magnetic clutch ensures ideal traction. And, only when absolutely necessary, the Mazdaspeed developed carbon fibre high-performance dual circuit brake system guarantees excellent stopping power. The Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo is Mazda's vision of the future born of their unrelenting challenger spirit.
I think I must be the only one here still playing.
Mostly just get on to win the VGT cars & prize cars, since I've got the game 97% complete. Just have a couple events left to get gold...

I am still playing the seasonal events, won the xj13 after 50 tries, also the jgtc event as well which is surprisingly easy.
This takes me back to the RX-792P. Mazda has not done anything worthwhile in racing for 20 years. Lame they can only do anything proper in a virtual environment.
