Just finished gold in all of the Goodwood events. I forgot how fierce the Red Bull X1 is. Pretty disappointed in the final prize car though. The GT by Citroen is a cool car and all but it's just a carryover car from GT5.

 

No I actually stopped playing GT5 because I got so pissed off that I had to do a versa race and I kept losing. I didn't want to spend any money to modify it and it kept making me more and more angry each time I lost. So I just quit and never played the game anymore lol. It's bullshit there isn't an acura TL in the game.

Yeah. It seems like Polyphony Digital gave up on Acura right around 2004. I think GT4 was the last Gran Turismo game to feature a new Acura product up until they put the new NSX into GT6. Unfortunately, the TL has been completely skipped over. I am actually more surprised the RL isn't in the game as a Honda Legend. Hopefully, with PD hooking up with Honda/Acura to get the new NSX into the game along with whatever happened that landed the Honda Fit as the standard car everybody started with in GT6, PD will bring more Acura products to us by way of DLC. Maybe the RLX Hybrid, (since it seems like PD has become obsessed with hybrids lately), and the upcoming TLX will make the cut. I know of about 700 Miata, S2000, RX-7 and GT-R variants that can be removed to make the space.

 

And I refuse to buy a prius in the game for the one make race. Complete bullshit that a prius is in the game and then they set up a race designated specifically for that car. Makes me really angry but I've learned to deal with it.

 

I did some research on Kazunori and learned he drove one of the spoon cars in the 25 hours of thunderhill. I started to think maybe the Honda r&d TL hurts spoon's feelings during that race so Yamauchi decided he wasn't going to include the TL in his game. lol It sounds unlikely but there is always the possibility.

 

Just get the Prius Touring car and de-tune it a little bit.

 

I have a problem with prius drivers in the real world so I carry that problem over to GT6. Won't be buying any prius.

 

Did you guys get your super license yet?

I'm sitting tight at 45% completion. Probably gonna play some more and choose another race to complete here in a bit.

I just started on the IA races last night. I unlocked the championship to get to the S license, but don't think I have a good car for it yet. Been using the VGT Mercedes & it was tough on the 15min Nurburgring race last night. Got to 2nd & didn't get 1st until the last lap (McLaren F1) ended up winning with about a 15sec lead (nitrous on the straight )

The VGT just understeers a bit too much for me. Great in the lower class races, but against actual racecars, not so much.

 

I can't remember what I used for the Championship. It had to have been the HSV because that's the fastest car I own.


The nurburgring 24 minute race is super easy. (in the super license) You don't even have to try to win. To me it's the most relaxing race of the game and you win 307,000 for gold.

 

The VGT & C7 Vette are my 2 fastest cars.
The Light Car Co Rocket is up there too, low on power, but it weighs 4lbs, so it keeps up & handles phenomenally.

 

I've been having problems with the gt championship to unlock the s license. I had to use the gran turismo f1 car and detune it to 750pp to race it

 

Finally bought a euro R last night. Did the standard additions with the power and dropped it with TE37s. Went with a mag blue for the color of the wheels.

Might try it with the Rocket. But I don't think it even has 700pp maxed out. It does great on slower twisty tracks, but any long straight & it struggles with top speed.

 

i use the GT F1 because of its awesome breaking.

 

I've made a few photos in photo mode. Most of them being my white cars with red wheels.

I need to get them off the ps3 and onto the internet.

About to turn on the game and probably buy some more cars.

 

Lol so I get to the last race on gt championship and it looks like I need headlamps. Lol had to drive blindly

 

It's pretty annoying that it is 20-Freaking-14 and the only way to get images from GT6 onto the internet is exporting them to the PS3, saving them onto a USB drive and then transferring them from the USB drive to a computer. I even have a nearly brand new Sony VAIO laptop that will not communicate with the PS3 in a way that allows data transer between them. Really annoying.

Furthermore, the fact that PD still has not found a way to convert the replays into a playable video that can be uploaded to YouTube is mind boggling. The only way to get a replay up on the internet is to either take a video of your TV screen or purchase a $150+ video capture PVR.

I'm over here comparing the size of the new nsx to other cars in the photo mode.

It looks really good. They better not mess with the rear trapezoidal vents on the bumper.

 

actually you can. when you export it into the XMB. Open the photo gallery and it can be posted to facebook and picasa if im not mistaken.

I don't like doing it because when its sent its not in its full-res photo.

 

You shouldn't have to export it to xmb first.

 

I doubt they fix it in the PS3 but PS4 will likely correct.

Finished the 15 min races & the rain races in IA. Rocket did pretty well for a 360hp car against a couple McLaren F1s, FXXs, Huayras.

 

Gonna get on for a few hours and try and get into Super
