nice review b-dogg, so far with gt-6 ive only been using the ps-3 remote, but I have the Logitech MOMO wheel I know in gt-5 once I got to a certain level playing with the remote became very hard, ill assume gt-6 well get that way when I get to the more powerful cars (nascars, super gt, etc.)
Anybody completed the new Red Bull events yet? I did the X2014 Standard events last night. I got gold in 4/5 races in the championship. Apricot Hill is a pain in the ass. I started in on the X2014 Fan Car events. They are basically time trial events against Sebastian Vettel. If anybody played the X1 challenges on GT5, these are about a billion times easier. I can get by Vettel coming out of the first chicane at Monza. He drives pretty aggressively to try to catch you. Sometimes he slams into the back of you. Sometimes he does this:

Ive been playing Rivals off and on. I've done most of the cop storyline. havent started the racer one yet
Finished out the Red Bull events tonight. They're pretty easy. I thought the toughest one was actually Suzuka. Took me more than a few tries to get 2 clean laps in. Did the Jaguar XKR-S Super Lap seasonal event tonight too. Currently ranked #1223 with a 1:12:086. The event is fairly new so I'm sure my ranking will be dropping soon. There's a lot more time out there so I'm gonna try it again when it's not 3:30am.
Am I the only one that doesn't understand why PD left out the photomode locations from GT5? GT6 only has 4 locations, (if you don't include the day/night versions of the same location). GT5 had 8-10. I just can't see any reason why they didn't include the GT5 locations in GT6. They included cars that have carried over almost completely unchanged since GT4, why not just carry over the photomode locations too? They're much more current than some of the jagged/pixelated cars that were just ported from a PS2 game. I really miss the Red Bull Hangar and Kyoto locations. The lighting effects at the RB Hangar were so awesome.
I don't mind starting in the back. If it weren't for the "chase the rabbit" format, the game would be even easier than it already is. What fun would there be in qualifying first and never even seeing the other cars in the race?

like I said. 99% of the time it's a non-issue. But there have been a few races where it would have been advantageous to start at the front.
I was wrong its the national A, 100 karts that are crapping on me (those small tracks area a killer I just cant find a rhythm), won the new vet and benz in the seasonal events the vets will do quite a few of the iB series races, have only had to purchase a few cars so far, mainly just use the ones I win.
The two new seasonals are pretty fun. I did the Toyota GT86 one last night in 1:35.445, good enough for #1307 in online rankings.

Just got a friend request from somebody on here. One of you 2G CL guys I'm assuming because of the screen name....
Hopefully one day we can all race in a room together. I've seen you guys online in a drifting room before. Just not my thing really. I actually really like the time trials. I find the AI in GT6, or any racing game for that matter, to be incredibly inferior. They brake so early that all you have to do is hang on their ass and then late brake them into the corner. Even if you get into the corner side by side with them, they immediately slow down, move off the race line and let you through. Like I said, if it weren't for the "chase the rabbit" game play, I'd never even see their tail lights unless I was lapping them.

I'm usually chasing down asianspec or idrivelambos.
