Except that 2 of the Seasonal races are "Drift Trials." Yeah...not doing those. I suck at drifting.

 

I did the Sylvia & got gold in about 3 tries. Haven;t tried the 4wd drifting yet.
Silver in GT Academy 3, then went racing with asianspec.

yep. 2 events. Mazda MX5 racecar on the Top Gear track & I can't remember the other car on the 'Ring, GTR maybe.
I think you just have to post a time, don't even have to bronze to get it.

 

i got gold on TG track but i just got bronze on nurburgring. didn't care to get gold in that.

Nice ^. I played a bit last night for the first time in what feels like months and I really like the new BMW, even after almost 2hrs of updates

 

Yeah, the updates took forever, hope the Senna & Vision VW content don't take as long.

 

I bet the Senna update will take longer. It will probably be an entire new section dedicated to it, (like the Vettel events).

 

So everything I was reading was saying Senna & the Vision VW were 5/23, now Senna is 5/27
And I'm going out of town for work until Thursday so I won't get to see/try until then. :Sad:

 

GT6 server maintenance scheduled for Friday. Should be tearing it up in some Senna cars this weekend.

 

Actually....Server maintenance is happening right now so we should have the Senna content tomorrow morning. Also, a Mitsubishi VGT spot has been added to the Vision GT section but it just pops you back to the main menu when you try to click on it. That's an added bonus! I am a little disappointed that it looks so much like the Volkswagen GTI VGT from the side, (as well as the Honda VGT preview picture). Hopefully PD doesn't just start releasing rehashed VGT cars every other week just to complete the series. Here's a video of the Mitsubishi VGT:

So, to summarize: Mitsubishi VGT, Senna Kart, F3 and F1 cars and old school layouts of Brands Hatch and Monza are all coming with this update. Should be a fun weekend!!!

 

Last day to do the grand finale on GT5

 

The Senna stuff is pretty fun, especially the WSR. Working on the Lotus trials right meow

this update is huge though. probably going to have to back up to usb and delete GT5 game off the PS3.

 

Anybody start in on the Senna events yet? I downloaded the update last night but didn't get a chance to play. A lot of guys on GTPlanet are saying they're pretty difficult.

 

I did the Kart one last night. Not easy, but I managed a Bronze...but it was late and I was tired. I was happy enough with that last night.

 

I got Bronzes in all 4 Senna events, didn't win any prize cars. Gotta go back later on and try to win the 1983 F3 car at the very least.

 

I got all bronze as well but will go at it again. I bought all of the cars though Wish they had the Mclaren

 

I got silver on the kart and bronze on 2nd one.

I can't shave that 1 tens of a second to get gold on the kart.

 

Just won silver at the F3 event, got the prize car as well.

 

Golded the Kart event pretty easily. Don't lift whatsoever on the second and third chicanes and hug the apex in the two big sweeping hairpins.

I'm a tenth off gold in the F3 event. Needed to take a break for a second because I'm starting to drive too aggressively and keep ending up off the track.

 

I'm currently watching this documentary about GT on Hulu

Have silver on all the Senna races now, except for the final one at Brands Hatch. The turbo lag in that Lotus is brutal and I just can't seem to get the timing down for the throttle on those turns.

 

Nice! I just golded the F3 event and got silver on my first completed lap of Monza with the Lotus. And yeah, the turbo lag is brutal. Just trying easing onto the gas a little more.

 

1:23.750 on Monza. I think in gonna save the 4th Senna event and the Mitsubishi VGT event for another night.

Gold on the kart, 0.1 off from gold on the F3, silver on Monza, bronze on Brands Hatch

 

I got gold yesterday on karts as well. Money is great though. But a bitch.

 

Yeah, I need to get back to 200% for the big money
$1M for gold on Brands Hatch in the Lotus.
